Natural Instincts Demi-Permanent Hair Dye, 4W Dark Warm Brown, 1 Pk

My hair is light brown and I colored it with dark warm brown for 20 minutes and it covered all my grays and gave me a rich color. It says it’s not permanent so hopefully in a couple weeks it’ll fade and I can try something different just to play with them, and it also made my hair, super shiny and conditioned

This is a good product, easy to use, doesn't smell chemically or irritate scalp. The first time I used the product, I left on for twenty minutes, as recommended on the packaging. It barely covered my gray roots, with color lighter than what was shown on the package. The next time I colored, I decided to leave the product on for longer - 30 minutes. That resulted in a dark brown color and full coverage. What I didn't realize is that when you leave this product on for longer it becomes permanent - or at least that was the effect on my hair. Six months later, there is still some residual color from the dye. Be aware of this. I was trying to gradually transition from dyed hair to my natural partial gray coloring, but this didn't work out as planned.

I am truly happy with the results. I was a bit skeptical about covering my greys at home, because I hadn't done so myself for about six years. Glad I did so with this product. Not only did it save me over $100, but it also looks nice. It did cover the greys I had mainly on the front and sides of my hair with what looks like beautiful highlights in the color picked. It blended nicely with my hair color and gave the rest of my hair a lovely shine boost. I used it all over my hair and have no complaints. 🤩

I really like this color - my natural hair color is medium to dark brown and this adds a reddish shade (not bright red, more like a medium auburn). Also wanted to thank the vendor for how well they packaged the product for shipping - I ordered three and they came in a sturdy box, with bubble wrap around them (and the boxes were also wrapped in case something might burst or leak during shipping). In the past I had ordered this product from Walmart one time and the vendor shipped it in a lightly bubbled envelope instead of a box, so when I opened the package the product box was all beat up and really damaged and I had to send it back.

This has been my favorite at home hair dye for years. It’s extremely easy to use and rinse off from areas it’s not meant to be. I’m 36 and have been using this on and off since high school, it never dies out my hair and always looks great!

Does not color well

I ordered thinking dark brown but my hair turn dark black. Wastage of money

Very easy to apply and the colour last longer despite regular wash.
