This light weight journal fits perfectly into your childs backpack. The pages are very detailed. You can talk about the weather, who was with you, what you did, what you ate, where you visited, description on what you saw. This journal was great for our kindergartener who could read but not at a high level. It also has spots for photos which is great for during or after! This is a great keep sake!

Moving to Europe for a couple years and wanted my child to be able to document our travels throughout. There are no photos of inside the journal any where I could find.The only map of Europe is the cover and then a world map on the inside second page. With the exception of the first 3 pages, which is where you write the child's name, document the start of the traveling, then make a list of what to pack, all the rest is the same two pages over and over. One page is to document the date, location, how you traveled, what you saw, favorite thing, who was there. Second page is to draw a picture or place a photograph.I assumed the pages would have maps of each country or a map of Europe every couple of pages to mark where in the world you are, since the name of the product is Travel Journal: Map Of Europe. I thought it would be more specific to Europe and not generic pages.
