I just received these gorgeous curtains and after trying a few different kinds on Amazon and returning them all I finally found what I was looking for and am one step closer to finishing our nursery! These have tab backs and an absolutely stunning drape. It was hard to capture in a photo but the material is a very good quality for less than $40 for the set. Especially since they were 96" long rather than the standard 84" and give much more height to the room. They are not blackout curtains but the listing only claims that they are room darkening which is true even for white fabric which is notorious for not blocking much light unless they are fully lined. I did iron them before hanging them up but the wrinkles came out quickly and they took heat well without any issues. I will definitely repurchase these again for other rooms in our home! I'm thrilled!!

These are beautiful! They say that they’re blackout curtains, but I disagree. The fabric is very thick and sturdy but does not keep light out the way other blackout curtains do. I would still recommend these though because they are very nice!

I had some older blackout curtains hung up and thought these would be a new refreshing look. They do look and feel nice, but are definitely not blackout curtains. As you can see by my photo, you can definitely see the sun coming through. You can also see my white blinds pulled up partially behind them. Maybe I got the wrong item, but this is not what is advertised.

Like many shoppers I wondered how effectively these would be at blocking early morning sunlight. I think a previous review said around 75% is blocked and I would agree with that - maybe even 80%. There is no blackout panel which means the white is WHITE and not grey because of the backing. As a result we have beautiful white, rich-feeling curtains that do let in some light when the sun is in full-gear. The fabric is gorgeous and the folds from being packed in a box fell out in a day or two. The fact that they have 2 options for hanging is a bonus. Love these!

These curtains are exactly what I've been looking for. I was searching for a few weeks for the perfect white curtains for my bedroom. I had bought a few other pairs in the store but when I got them home they didn't look right, They were too thin looking. These are heavy but not too heavy, just right. These are great for the price, alot of curtains in the stores are $30 just for one panel, but these were only $32 for a set of 2. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered the Ivory colored. They are not Blackout. On a sunny day, they do a good job at room darkening. I would say about 75% light blocked. I easily wake up when it's too bright and these curtains block enough light that I don't wake up to the light which does comes through. They are are a little on heavier side and very soft. Overall please with them.

These are NOT blackout, they also came with a big blue streak of stain!!! So disappointed

These curtains are great for blocking light and heat , however, they were not 52 inches in width. I have ordered 3 different colors for the bedrooms of my home and none of them were the width stated that I had ordered. To make matters worse, I am decorating a home in Bolivia and have had to order multiple times just to fill the windows properly. As you may guess, the cost of getting these items to Bolivia is very expensive when you include the customs charges applied. As for the curtains themselves, they are very well made and definitely are blackout curtains. FYI, the reason I ordered these was because here in Cochabamba they don't know what blackout curtains are. 3 stars instead of 5 because of the inconvenience and added expense.

First off, let’s get straight to the point: these aren’t thermal or blackout curtains. The material these curtains are made out of are thick, but they don’t do much in the way of blocking out sunlight or offering heat retention. I bought these originally with the hopes that they would be thermal enough to help with the drafty windows in my bedroom. They’ve proven to be pretty lousy at keeping the heat in, but I will say that they are incredibly soft and a very beautiful silky texture. I love the look of these curtains. They look expensive and luxurious. If it weren’t for how nice they looked I would have taken them down. So all in all these are great looking curtains and a good bang for your buck in that aspect, but if you’re looking for truly thermal/blackout curtains I wouldn’t recommend these.

I bought the curtains because of the colour and good reviews. I am a person that likes my bedroom pitch black.Previous single layers I have bought, you cannot see-thru… I have bought double layers too that do not allow any light to come in.I took the photo of how you can still see the brightness from outside in a cloudy bright day without sun present. My other ones would be similar to doble fabric.I am just picky, but the quality is good, still block lots of light (will come through the openings above and sides - unavoidable), they are heavy and the texture is nice. I like that they have back tab they look nice… sadly, the idea was to get rid of my blackout installed with a removable rod inside my window… and seems that it will stay… along with these curtains, as they are cheap and nice looking anyways.You cannot go wrong with the price if you are not picky like me.

Very happy with these curtains. I will order again for sure. They are not black out but they are exactly what I wanted. The wrinkles are slowly disappearing the longer they are up. They were the finishing touch that our bedroom was lacking.

These curtains do a great job of blocking the sun. They are very soft and hang nicely. They were easy to wash and dry, yet came out of the dryer quite wrinkled. It didn't take long to iron the panels, but they needed more than the recommended low heat, they can definitely take medium heat. I really like the back tab style, classier than grommets. Very happy with this purchase.
