GARDEN MARKER PEN PERMANENT OUTDOOR MARKER - [Pack of 2]

These pens are LEGIT. They stand up to daily UV exposure and have not faded at all, unlike every other kind of marker I’ve tried. I will use these exclusively from now on. Thrilled with the performance. Last year my tags labeled with another pen faded by mid summer and couldn’t be read by the end of the season. Not this year.I’ve gotten pretty serious about gardening, I have 12 raised beds, 5 Greenstalk towers, and this year I grew 99% of my plants from seed - over 300 plants in total. Having good labels is essential.If you want to re-use the tags, the marker will break down and can be scrubbed off with rubbing alcohol, but it doesn’t come off as easily as other brands and may leave a little ghosting. I try to minimize using plastic in my garden and re-use when I can. Honestly I will probably just rinse the dirt off the labels for things I plan to grow again next year because they still look brand new thanks to this marker.Attaching a photo of what my plant tags look like today as I tear my garden down at the end of the season. Started plants indoors in March, they went out end of May/beginning of June, and I pulled everything down mid-November. As you can see, no fading!

I love these pens! I will always have at least three in convenient places. Very permanent ink. Fine point, easy to print small letters. Great for labeling outdoor garden tags or ziplock bags. Best ever for marking stained glass before sawing using a water lubricated diamond saw. The ink stays on the glass while water is flowing over it. I remove the ink easily using alcohol. This is the only pen I have ever found that will work for this process. Not even paint markers will work. The pen makes a nice fine line too. Big time saver for glass work.

Writes on any hard surface clearly and so far no fading. I like them.

The marker starts off fine and dark but after about 20 plant tags for the garden it becomes thick. It still keeps its darkness but I write a lot on my tags: name of plant, date planted and transplanted, place I bought the seeds. The writing does not fade which is a huge plus!

Am I the last to know about this little garden plant marker secret or have I made a special discovery? 🤔😂 I was cleaning the soil off of some of my summer plant markers before putting them away for next spring. The soil and mud on them was pretty heavy, so I sprayed some Dawn Powerwash on them as extra muscle... and to my surprise, the Dawn Powerwash took the permanent garden marker right off! I've been so pleased with the Staedtler permanent garden marker...my tags held up all summer in extreme heat and rain, without any fading or smearing! That's why I was shocked to see the ink lifting right off once I sprayed on the Dawn Powerwash!
