As I aged (52 now), I struggled to find one that suited my changing skin. This has a very subtle shimmer that illuminates my skin. It’s not glittery or overtly shimmery, just gives a nice glow. Still feels lightweight and covers well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best value for the money (and I've tried them all) *by on Reviewed in the United States March 25, 2023* I was a Bare Minerals lady for years before discovering the drug store brands were doing similar things. I've always been grossed out by skin-colored liquids, so most foundations have been out for me. Pressed powder isn't gross to me, but doesn't seem to work that well if that's the only foundation you're using, so I've tried a bunch of those and used a knife to scrape it into a loose powder. It's a lot of hassle and many of them don't work that well anyway. I've tried pretty much all the drug store loose powder foundations I could find (Physician's Formula, CoverGirl, Maybelline, L'Oreal, etc.). None of them are as good as this Neutrogena stuff. It doesn't smell bad, it's nice and sheer if you only apply a little but can be built for a bit more coverage, and you get a nice amount of it for the money. I alternate between two different colors depending upon the season, and I've found there's quite a bit of leeway before either of them looks too light or too dark. It's never too pink or too yellow and never look unnatural. It would be nice if it could provide a tiny bit more coverage, but I don't think that's the intention of this product. I think most people are cool with using a little liquid concealer or a base foundation instead (again, I'm in the minority for hating that stuff). All in all, I kind of wished I had just stuck with this rather than trying to find better elsewhere. Would have saved me a lot of time and money.
