Just what I was hoping for
I had a new shop built at my home in the side of a hill that allowed for a small "cellar" to be added to the far north east corner. It is about 8 x 8 x 7 (448 cubic feet). It is all cinder block walls with a cement ceiling and floor. It had way too much humidity. At times it was over 80% never getting below 70%. Being a small room I bought a small dehumidifier. Although it seemed to work fine and still is operational today it did not lower the humidity. Because it had a small water tank I had to empty it frequently. It just wasn't working the way I needed it to. The north facing outside wall had the most surface contact with the dirt so I figured sealing that was with basement paint would help. It made no difference with my existing small dehumidifier so I researched on amazon and settled on the Seavon dehumidifier which I purchased in August 2019. I worked extremely well. Very quiet and keeps the humidity at the setting of 60%. I was very pleased until recently I went to the cellar and my humidity was back up to over 70%. The tank was not full and the unit would not come on. I checked the plug in and settings which were good. Since it had a manufacturer's warranty of one year I contacted the manufacturer and after a couple of exchanged emails they offered to replace it for a nominal fee of $0.70. I accepted the offer and the new one arrived in a day and I is working great. They assured my they had not had any issues with this unit and they have been very reliable. I hope this is true and the new one with last many years. I am very pleased with the response of the seller and the function of the unit

It Works!
The media could not be loaded. Just turn it on and that’s it! Easy to use and really works. We live in Northern California which is not known for its humidity. However, One of our bedrooms tends to have a lot of water accumulate in the crawlspace below it. We had an inspector come out and it turns out that we are in the low lands of our neighborhood so all the water accumulates in one part of our backyard and into our crawlspace under the bedroom. The bedroom is about 12x12. In that same bedroom we also have two litter boxes. After one week the litter boxes become like bricks with the urine accumulated and they start to smell as the wet urine just sits there. I have noticed that since using this dehumidifier the litter boxes Don’t stay wet all the time so the litter last longer and smells less horrible. After 24 hours of constant use this unit collected about 3/4 of a cup of water (see pic), which I used to water my plants. It is not heavy so it’s easy to maneuver, it shuts off automatically when Removing the water reservoir, and the sound is pretty low, giving off white noise.Definitely recommend

Removes about 280ml/day and stopped working just under 1 year
Update #2: we have had this almost 1 year. It completely stopped working out of nowhere. Doesn't turn on at all. Wishing I had skipped this dehumidifier. I tried contacting the manufacturer, apparently their email address is [email protected] not .com, but we will see if it goes through this time.Update: After 10 days the unit removed 12 cups of water from the air. That would be 2832ml. Based on the description that it can remove 750ml a day, it should be closer to 7500ml vs the actual 2832ml it removed. That's a difference of 4650ml. Knowing this, I would have picked a less expensive option, since this removed less than the expected 350ml the smaller models list.Original review:The unit looks nice and is relatively quiet. We have it in the basement and it registered at 72% humidity. After 72 hours, it pulled 32oz or 4 cups of water out of the air. Based on the description, it should be able to pull 750ml or 25oz a day. So, ideally, it would have been closer to 75oz vs 32oz after 72 hours. I am hoping it will improve as the humidity lowers. I will update with more info.

After using it a week I am mostly happy but
I am updating this review after a week from 3 stars to 4.It pulls water out much better over time than the other 2 thermo dehumidifiers I have after all. Probably due to it's slightly larger size and airflow. It is roughly twice as effective in this aspect compared to the other 2 and that is awesome. I still love the simplistic design as well. The issue remains that the humidity gauge is off quite a bit, but I've learned it is off consistently at least. Most of the time I can just add 12% and be closer to the real level. That does vary some but at least it senses it reliably up and down all day if you just add 12% to it.I am still undecided if I want to return it and save $25 just due to the sensor and get the unit without the humidity sensor but same brand/roughly same size.I bought a different type( and cheaper a few months back on Amazon. It is small and simple and half the price. This one claimed for a larger room, with a built in humidity monitor. Since the other one has been a champ at getting water from the air I figured this unit with the "higher" specs higher wattage 60 compared to the others 40 and humidity level the other didn't have I would be even happier. The other claims 40 watts and draws 38. This one claims 60 watts and draws 35. Over a 24 hour period of outside humidity of 90+% 24/7 thanks to a unbelievably wet year to date in Kentucky and inside humidity of 65-75% thanks to old wooden windows the other smaller cheaper unit has pulled out 20 ounces of water in 24 hours. This one in 16 hours? 2. It is either half working which would explain why it isn't using near the claimed power, or it isn't as good as it claims. The real deal breaker for me is the humidity display. It has read from 46-64% all day/night. The weather station in room has shown 69-77% in that period and I even took a display from the kitchen and sit it beside the unit and it as well shows 65-75 on that side of the room. This "Feature" added roughly $20 to the cost of the unit over the other model from the same company. The other concern is while nice, it uses a power brick to convert midway but gets VERY hot. The distance of the cord is nice but it shouldn't be getting as hot as it does for what power it is pulling. I do like the size and bin and how the air flow functions where it intakes from the rear and expels from the sides and I like the shape of it. So now I am left wondering if it is defective somehow and to return and buy the model without a humidity sensor or just get another brand entirely. I'm not sure what could be defective as these units are simply fans over a thermoelectric heatsink that water gathers on and falls down into a bin. In that regard they are all identical. Some with better fans and sinks than others. I can feel the airflow so I know at least that is functioning but the results thus far are not up to spec. The unit is quiet and the air is minimally warm coming out. I love the design and features. I don't love the poor results so far. I'll give it another day and see if anything improves .

Surprisingly amazing
I wasn’t expecting much from a small machine but this one really surprises me with its powerful capabilities. I could tell the difference after 2 weeks of use.
