What happened to the black models? I broke my black one and I really this this brush.

Hi. Can you tell me how durable this brush is? Also if it lasts more then a year?

Its durable. My 4 year old uses it to do it hair and drops it often. We've had it almost 2 years I think. Personally tho...if you plan to use it on a daily basis, I'd get a better one. It does straighten well, but takes a good bit of time. But for an occasional use, its great.
