Great Kit - Tough Install if you’re not Experienced
The kit is great and looks fantastic. My original shocks were blown to space so this definitely helped, and looks way better. The install was tough, being a non-mechanic. Took me around 10 hours total, but that is also because I snapped two of the existing bolts off and had to drill them out before getting the front shock on. My only gripe is that I had to reuse all of the original shock bolts, or buy new ones from Home Depot (again, since I broke the 30 year old ones off). Other than that, would recommend this kit.

U BOLTS WERE NOT LONG ENOUGH
The front lift springs and shocks were easy to install while doing a full front end rebuild with new control arms and everything. However, the u bolts the kit came with were not long enough. Going from factory 9in long u bolts to the supplied 10in long u bolts from Rough country even though the block lift was 1.5 tall….you see where the math is not adding up. Had to go out and buy extended 11in u bolts to fit my leaf spring saddles back on. Otherwise the kit fit fine. Would be nice if this kit had more detailed instructions than 3 sentences about the front ball joint spacer install but that RC quality. Photo before vs after
