I still remember the first time I smelled this perfume on someone else years ago. I was out somewhere and passed by a woman who smelled so unbelievably good that I literally stopped her to ask what she was wearing. She told me it was Hypnotic Poison Eau de Toilette, and I ordered it for myself that same week. Ever since then, it has been my signature scent. There is just something addictive and unforgettable about it. It’s warm, sweet, deep, feminine, and slightly mysterious all at the same time. Every time I wear it, people ask me what perfume I’m using — strangers, coworkers, friends, even cashiers. It never fails. I’ve had people hug me and immediately say “wait… you smell AMAZING.” It’s one of those scents that people genuinely remember. What I love most is that it smells luxurious without being overpowering. It has this cozy vanilla-almond warmth to it while still feeling sexy and sophisticated. It wears beautifully throughout the day and somehow smells even better hours later on the skin. I’ve tried so many perfumes over the years, but I always come back to this one. At this point it almost feels tied to my identity because everyone associates this scent with me now. It is a very sensual fragrance you do not have to use a lot very little is required and it smells awesome

It’s a very strong spiced almond smell for the first couple of minutes but tends to settle down to a rich vanilla after some air time. I would recommend spraying alittle more distant around 8-10 inches away from skin, trust me one spritz will do ya. If it’s too strong for you I recommend just spraying on the back of the knee, if your wearing shorts or a skirt of course, but yeah, I ordered 3.4 oz but I think ordering a 1oz would last at least 5 months if used consistently. Overall I love it!

I've never been a perfume person and in fact have felt like some peoples' scents give me headaches. But someone said something about this perfume that made me wonder about it, so I bought it -- and now I feel incomplete without it. It is said to be more of a winter scent, and I can see that, so I've been trying to expand into more summery scents at this time, but so far nothing has captured my senses and soul like Dior Hypnotic.

Hypnotic Poison was made with me in mind, it will never smell as divine on anyone else, but you can try! 😬 I had let years lapse since buying this perfume and couldn’t resist at this price!

I tried but the reformulation is not nearly as good as the original. I have been wearing this accent almost 30 years but now the first thing I smell is the massive amount of alcohol they put in it. It also smells like something is missing now. I will be looking for a new scent. We had a good run. On the bright side, the dupes smell more like the original. I'll stick to them on the days when I want this scent.

This is such a warm soft and sweet scent, so mature and sexy is a classy way. What I like about it is that young and older women can wear this, and it doesn't seem out of place. It's a real timeless classic, one of my favourite scents ever. I just cant stop sniffing myself, and I feel confident when I'm around people when I have this on. The bottle is so beautiful too, I love displaying it on my shelf. There are a lot of scents listed in this perfume, but there are only a handful of things I can distinguish because the dominate the scent. These scents are sweet creamy vanilla, a lightly toasted sweet almond, and creamy coconut to add thickness. As it drys down, there is some sweet and powdery flower I can't quite tell.
