Samsung Galaxy S3 Original OEM 2100mAh Rechargeable Battery

Pile. I still have a Samsung Galaxy 3s from I believe 2012. Finally decided to get a new replacement battery because mine was not holding a charge well. Bought this one and initially the battery held a charge, but quickly has been operating similar to my old one where it will lose it's charge within a few hours even after closing all background running processes.

Phone started randomly resetting after a few months of use on this new battery and the battery wouldn't last long at all. Swapped to my older batteries and the resetting went away-- no changes to how the phone was being used or apps.I think whoever I bought this OEM battery from must be selling duds. The price was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.Just purchased a new Acevan battery and the initial use suggests that it is the best battery that I have tried so far. I would go with that brand, and the plus is that it is a 2300mah battery. To me the cable that comes with it is worthless, but if you also need a new USB charging cable then the Acevan battery is probably the way to go.

I'm extremely disappointed with this battery. After the first day's use beginning with a full charge, it began to drain rapidly after dropping below 50% after about 6 hours! I keep my phone clear of anything running to maintain battery strength (NO apps running, ever that I'm aware of). By the second and third day of use, this battery would not last even 6 hours of minimum use (very light texting every few hours) before racing to "low battery warning" after 6 hours. It appeared to be a new battery in a clear plastic, with a bar coded sticker labeled Samsung Galaxy S3 Origin[al]...0mAh Rechargeable Battery New. This may be a "new" battery but it has been on a shelf for many years. It behaves exactly like the original battery and another replacement, that, after a few years, will not power the phone for light use after more that 6 to 8 hours. I am trying to obtain a replacement...

BATTERY IS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR THE COST. PERFORMS AS EXPECTED. CHARGED FULLY. RUNS ON BATTERY FOR HOURS BASED ON USE. STRONG CHARGE ALLOWS HOURS OF OFF CHARGER USE. I WOULD BUY THIS BATTERY AGAIN FROM THIS SELLER. WONDERFUL AFTER MARKET BATTERY. BEST PLACE TO BUY.

Bought to replace original equipment on Samsung phone. Lasted only 3 weeks. Was supposed to be new. But it won't hold a charge after 3 weeks. Do not recommend.

I bought one of these two years ago and it's just now starting to drain a little fast with all the phone features turned on 24/7. I have recharged over 700 times and it will last for another year if only use it as a phone. Great battery!

The first battery I received was defective - it wouldn't hold a charge even on a charger. I emailed the company and they sent me another - for reasons unknown it was delivered to someone in a different state. I was sent a third battery and it works fine.

Wanted to wait a couple of months before giving a review, it's been 3 months and no complaints...battery works great with my daughter's Samsung s3....
