Wellness Complete Health Toy Breed Adult Dry Dog Food, Wholesome Grain Kibble, Natural, Chicken, Brown Rice, and Peas Recipe, 4 lb Bag

I have two Yorkies. One is especially picky about food. The other has a sensitive stomach. This food takes care of both issues. We have tried many brands, and the food would sit out. The dogs would pick at it but never really seem to enjoy mealtimes. With this, mealtimes are finally stress-free and they eat within minutes. They come running when the bag comes out of the pantry. While we were transitioning to the new food, they would pick out all of the old food and only go for the Wellness. The picky eater (smaller of the two) loves the kibble size and gobbles this down. She used to pick up a few pieces of her old food, bring them over to the rug and really have to individually crunch each piece. This kibble is tiny (you can probably fit two or three pieces on your pinky nail) and she finally eats over the bowl! Absolutely perfect for toy breed mouths! The high-quality ingredients mean no stomach issues for my other dog. Very pleased and you can't beat the price here! Update: My dogs have been on Wellness for almost three months now. I have definitely noticed a difference in their coats. Both shinier and silkier. Their body condition is also excellent and they both seem to be developing more lean muscle. My smaller Yorkie also has more energy. She's been playing more and seems generally more lively and happy. She also learned to jump up on furniture and has been doing it nonstop! Not sure if that's because of the food, but she just turned 4 years old and has always wanted to jump up but never seemed to have it in her. Maybe she finally figured it out or maybe it was the energy from the new food! In either case, we'll be sticking with this brand. We've also been using the Wellness Natural WellBites Soft Dog Treats treats for training and they just love those too.

I have been using this Wellness food for my small 11 year old Chihuahua (2 pounds) for several years. This food is extremely small so excellent for the toy breeds. It provides the nutrition these small dog need. All the dogs vet checkups have been good. And even though she is 11 years old she still chases squirrels. What she would ever do with one if she caught it is beyond me, since most are bigger that her. Anyway I had trouble finding this at a reasonable price in out area, so use Amazons auto delivery. This food has proven to be an excellent product. I recommend this for small dogs.

My Pomeranian never seemed to really like any of the other varieties of dog foods I have given her. I did some research on different foods and ultimately decided to try this wellness food for toy dogs. She LOVES this dog food. The size of the kibble is great for her and she enjoys the taste. She no longer waits until she is starving to eat, she eats this twice a day. So glad I found this food!

Wellness TOY BREED is the only thing my 10 pound Chihuahua will eat! He’s a picky eater and plus he’s got a small little mouth so the size of any other kibble morsel is just too big for him...he refuses to eat anything other than Wellness! I have not found any another adult kibble morsel on the market that is as small as the TOY BREED is. He’s been eating this brand his whole life-5 years. It’s crazy that no other adult dog food brand makes a tiny morsel for adult dogs with smaller mouths. Another great thing to mention is these are round morsels, not triangle which are harder to eat for smaller dogs mouths. I’ve taken a picture above next to a dime to show actual size. I don’t know what we would do without Wellness Toy Breed. 10 out of 10 A+++🐾

Quick shipping! Kibble very tiny! Dogs don’t chew. Otherwise good quality!!!

Again, my eyes are really picky and he didn’t really care for this brand unfortunately

Finally after years of searching. Small food for our little man. He is literally TINY and has zero teeth. He can eat with no problems, when I say they are small, they are SMALL! He doesn’t look like he’s having a rough time gumming down some food. (he loves kibble, even without teeth, but the struggle can be real!) he gets so excited to have them for dinner, and looks so proud and confident when eating! Honestly, it’s the one kibble he actually obsesses about! Awesome kibble if you have a dog that has no teeth! Recommend!

Just checked again (8-19) comparing ingredients to other brands for small dogs-only one I looked at that FIRST INGREDIENT IS MEAT rather than starch of some sort! I've bought the 4-lb Toy product over six times over the last year. My 5 pound Chi is picky and has lost several teeth. This is one product that after trying samples of a dozen other products she will and can actually eat (fortunately she still has her molars). I mix a tablespoon of this with a tablespoon of wet and heat a few seconds to take the chill off the refrigerated wet with a pea worth of butter mixed together. She gets this twice a day and eats every drop and has maintained a healthy weight for her. I noticed a few reviews mentioning pin holes and old bags of food, which led me to check my current bag-no pin holes and 18 months to the "best by" date. The only negative I can think of is the cost has gone up 50% in the last year which doesn't make me happy....but on the other hand compared to what it must cost those with large dogs?

My dog is a senior shihtzu and this food is 31st for her to eat. It's hard but dogs only chew until they can swallow the food. Plus it has so many healthy ingredients. My picky dog loves this stuff and it's her go to.

Amazing i have toy yorkie ,toy pomperian and they both love this food and the food is really small so they can actually eat it! Great ingredients

No se las come mi mascota.

My dog loves this & im happy about that. Ingredients are not fillers.
