the delivery was great, i haven't had a chance to use it yet as I am still learning notes but my drummer instructor suggested it and said it is a great tool

NOT the book with CD as advertised. Wasn't even a new book. Will be returned.

If you read this you're probably familiar with the concept. It obviously helps your independence, probably the best book on the marked for that, but it also helps you to monitor your playing in "realtime" - which to me is the greater reward. I suggest this book along with Benny Greb's "Art and Science of the Groove", Stick Control: For the Snare Drummer by George Lawrence Stone and Jojo Mayer's video on stick control.

CAUTION: the listing says it comes with the CD bit mine did not so I had to contact the seller and return the book.

excellent device to open up your ambidexterity. It is imperative to follow the part about singing out loud as you play.

So far I'm enjoying this book! It's challenging my coordination and independence in many different ways and I'm learning quite a bit. This is a must have! :)

Not much instruction and a lot of unexplained charts.Also the second half of the book just lists the artists and albums the writer worked with/on.This guy is not a teacher's arm-pit!Definitely not recommended for drummers who want to learn something.
