Hours and hours of fun with the kids, easy enough to jump right in but varied enough to not get bored. Quality of pieces were fine, good value for the money.

We sometimes remove some cards from the deck we decided nobody ever wants. Biggest issue is that our base game is in Hebrew and the cards are not exactly the same size. Don't know if this is unique to hebrew version or simply different revisions of the game. It is almost impossible to shuffle cards of different sizes together, we resort to an auto-shuffler I usually find to cumbersome to use.

Original review:At the time of the initial review, we've only played the "Harbor" expansion. The expansion adds a lot to the game - we like the game play better with the new rules, and really enjoyed it. I'd give it five stars. However, so far, we've found the following issues: 1)Two of the additional Landmark cards are misprinted. For the first card, the inactive side shows airport, the activated side shows amusement park. The second card is opposite: the inactive side shows amusement park, the activated side shows airport. 2) There's a new card that gives you a reward for every "flower orchard" card you have. There are no "flower orchard" cards. There are other "flower" type cards, so this is a misprint/typo. We haven't tested the other expansion out yet to see if it also has issues/misprints. Once we do, we'll see about contacting them for replacements. Updated review: Upgraded from 3 stars to 5. There were no additional misprints in the Millionaire's Row expansion. Playing the game with just Millionaire's Row is a lot of fun. Playing the game with both expansions is a lot of fun. This box is a lot of fun. You know what else is a lot of fun? The company quickly replaced the misprints with zero hassle. I contacted them on their website. They have a simple form to fill out. A few days later, we received the replacement cards.

Super fun fun. I play this all the time at a friend's house, so I decided to buy one for myself. It came sealed looked perfect on the outside but missing so much. Like really??? As seen in pictures I only received the renovation tokens and 2 decks of cards which I am going to count and make sure. I will either email the company or get Amazon to exchange. The game is definitely worth keeping but you need all the pieces for it to work.

My fiancé loves the base game, so I decided to get him the expansion for his birthday. We love it! I didn’t realize that there are actually two different expansions included, and we’ve been having fun switching off between the two. We prefer the Harbor expansion - it has the same feel as the regular game, but with some slight twists (like some cards stop working after you’ve built a certain number of landmarks, etc) Millionaires Row is much more competitive, you HAVE to play aggressively or you will definitely lose. So while it’s fun, we’re not always in the mood for that. Overall, definitely worth it if you enjoy Machikoro!

Do not purchase this expansion pack from Gamesmen, nor any game for that matter. They are super difficult to work with if you need to make a return because of their error. Avoid purchasing from Gamesmen at all cost. Warning, since no one else will tell you this, until after you purchase the expansion pack. EXPANSIONS PACKS WILL NOT WORK WITH MACHI KORO 2. No way to know this until after you open the expansion packs. No warning is given by Gamesmen till after you purchase, then you’re stuck with returning the game via your own expense. Shoddy way to do business.

Machi Koro es un juego fantástico. Si te gusta el Catán y juegos de cartas estilo Deck building este juego es perfecto para ti. Con el simple juego Base lo tienes todo. Sencillo y divertido. Su expansión The Harbor & Millionaire's Row le agrega más variabilidad y hacen del juego aún mejor.

This isn't the 5th Anniverary version, just normal version. Couldn't be bothered returning it.
