They are written in a logical hierarchy for understanding the benefits (and yes, pitfalls) of visual expression.Visual Doing is not for those looking to Zentangle, it is a business book for business people. It explains the usefulness of visual explanations in business--for yourself, for sharing with a small group, and for communicating to a large group.It's easy to understand, professional, and clear. Visual thinking is not art, it's not doodling, it's communicating.I teach Creative Problem Solving and the first exercise is a brain teaser. As groups explained their solution, every one drew a diagram instead of using words. Visual Thinking is the way of tomorrow, but smarter than emojis.

Amazing book. I thought her first book was great but then this one came along and blew my mind. Totally worth the buy❤️

Today we can use white board software to create great visual videos to tell our story. This book never covers designing a visual presentation for white board software. With software, you have an unlimited size canvas to work with. It seemed to me the book is geared toward a physical whiteboard, paper, or PowerPoint presentation.

You won't learn much about how to prepare your storytelling in this book: it is more about how to tell it with pictures and very easy drawing, and gives a lot of ideas and activities to make it easier. That was exactly what I needed, a well balanced book between explications and text. Thanks!

Entretenido. Práctico.

Early days, but I enjoy the more right brained appraoch to displaying information. In this respect the book is good, although doesn't always follw the advice promoted. There's also a lot on each page, so it can seem overwhelming, which is not the objective, after all.Won't suit those who are more analytical and left-brain orientated in their approach, but we can all laern to employ both visual and linear skills, and this book helps learners understand far better, especially in a very linear corporate world.
