I have the original Miricle blade and the knife length is 8 3/4" and the knifes blade length is almost 4". I would like it if they made the blade longer like the first ones that I have but I like them. When I put the knives together, the knife handle on the new one is shorter then the original one I have. They cut just as good as the as the original ones. Hope this helps. **Q: Can the labels on the handles be removed?** A: Yes, mine are gone... I don't remember removing them, so they must have come off in the dishwasher. BTW, these are AWESOME knives! I thought the old style miracle blades were great, and these are even better.
