Every time I stop by a gas station or liquor store and see those jerky sticks sitting in those plastic bins near the cash register, I want to buy one. Occasionally I will buy one and every time I do, I totally regret it because they're old, dry and disgusting. I definitely do not regret buying a 3-pack of these though. It's not as spicy as I would've preferred, but it's got a mild kick and plenty of that saltiness you'd expect from beef pepperoni sticks. In each bag is a single row of jerky sticks, 9 of them. It seems to be sealed airtight, and there's a slight film of oil over the jerky (presumably to reduce contact with air). Not nearly as greasy as a Slim Jim though. Just wipe your fingers before typing on the keyboard again. Package says to consume within 3 days after opening or otherwise store the rest in the fridge.

I bought these as a stocking stuffer for in my husband's Tactical Stocking. There are three packages which are all vacuum sealed and able to be reclosed. I noticed others saying it didn't taste like pepperoni, which worried me a bit, but it tasted exactly like pepperoni and was pretty good in my opinion. I expect nothing less of Jack Links. To me they didn't have much spice to them, but I'm one of those people who loves spicy foods and have an iron stomach and taste buds. So the spice level wasn't off the charts for me, but if you are sensitive to spiciness, it might be a little too much.

Very spicy but if you like the taste

These pepperoni beef sticks are excellent. Lean, flavorful, firm, and with a bit of spice. Since I can never find the old fashioned dry pepperoni sticks that the bars had just hanging around in the '50s and '60s, I have to go with the Link's. Low/no sugar, carbs, or trans fats, these meaty little wonders are my go-to snack. Just as importantly, the Link's Pepperoni Beef sticks list ingredients that DO NOT include "beef hearts", that junk that you often find in other meat sticks. Well recommended.

These are good tasting pepperoni sticks. I get them for gifts as well as for myself. Not had any complaints. .Good price as compared with purchasing at stores..... when they can be found. 2/26/19 Update; After trying several other name brands, I still find these pepperoni stick the best tasting overall.

I usually like pepperoni sticks but they are hard to come by and this is the first time for me trying the Jacks Links variety of it. I love their regular beef sticks so I thought I would try the pepperoni this time but I am not a fan. They were very low on the "pepperoni" flavor and was just very greasy and not a whole lot of flavor of anything though you get the spicy aftertaste its probably from the oil they put into it as I didn't taste the spiciness upon consumption. I'm going to stick to their original beef sticks cause they aren't as greasy and have a lot of flavor.
