This is the gold standard for RO membranes
This is the gold standard for RO membranes. It's expensive but superlative. This the 2nd I have bought. With appropriate pre filters this 75 gpd membrane converts my appallingly hard tap water of 809 microsiemens ( about 400ppm) into excellent permeate at 20 microsiemens, - about 10ppm. This is an amazing result. I also know that with regular flushing this membrane will perform reliably for at least 2 years or longer. If you are for some reason chasing 0 tds, no RO membrane will manage that - you will need to add a DI resin stage. It's worth remembering that TDS of 10ppm is absolutely minimal, negligible for all normal purposes. With the Dupont reputation behind it, you can safely assume that this membrane will have removed all the terrible contaminants which cannot be measured at home using a conductivity meter.
