She gets lots of compliments when we go to waterparks in it. Does run a bit small. I ordered a 12 month for my 16 pound 7 month old. She is long for her age though. But still in 6 months some 6/9 months clothing. The 12 month fits great. It is UV protection fabric. We tested it out at home in our pool a few times without applying sunscreen first. Went great. We spent from 10am to 7pm at waterpark with only applying sunscreen to face, head, hands and legs. Our youngest is extremely fair skinned and I’ve worried how we would enjoy summer with out her getting burnt. We are very dark complected for most part. She’s our little strawberry blonde baby. This little suit has completely eased my mind and fears of an infant getting sunburnt. Will be purchasing additional size up for next summer. Only thing I wish they could have added was access to change swim diaper. We were in the pool for 2 hours yesterday and not a bit of sun penetrated the suit. It is so lightweight that she doesn't get too hot even out of the pool.
