how good is it at detangling?

Its pretty good but then again I don't have super curl hair - just wavy. The salon I go to specialized in curly hair and carries their full line of products. Hope this helps. If your unsure maybe ask for a sample as its not exactly cheap!!

What is the fragrance? I really dislike any coconut or pina colada smell!

No coconut aroma just a very pleasant fragrance. BTW it is a wonderful shampoo and condioner. My 4B/C hair loves the moisture rentention provided by this product line.

Is it good for fine 4a/b hair?

If you hair is dry and needs moisture yes. But if your on the oily side it's not the right product. My hair tends to be a little frizzy on top of the wave and this helps calm that down.
