Not only is it a time saver (try making your own turf...it takes forever), but the quality is really good. The shaker bottle makes it very convenient to use and store. I have had the experience of a plastic bag of turf tear up and leak all over the place. It is a waste of product that I did not enjoy experiencing. This product is reasonably priced and an excellent value for the amount of turf I got in the containers. I recommend buying at least two different turf colors and textures to achieve a more realistic appearance. I found that this turf does need a good amount of adhesive onto the surface to work well but it is well worth the effort. It could be the texture which was more coarse than than some of the other turf material that I have purchased. I really like the way it looks and it is really nice for making bushes. I also let my daughter use some of the product in her school project of building a mission and it worked well for that too.
