After doing more research on essential oils, I learned a bit more what it is my skin needs.If you have oily skin and acne prone, I do not suggest this oil, at least not alone. This oil is not heavy but it does take a while for it to sink in. For me, it hydrated my skin throughout the day without making it feel oily. My skin is left feeling soft throughout the day. However, because it is hydrating, it also did nothing to help with my acne.Rosehip oil is used for acne scars. If you have active acne, this oil might irritate it more.As a base oil, this oil is great. I've noticed my acne scars have diminished the week I have used it. I use it at night for my bag and fine lines, and the area around my eyes have gotten lighter.I would definitely use this again for scar diminishing.
