Lovely piece of solid oak supplied with two sturdy threaded mounts so the shelf appears to float once fixed to the wall. However, the instructions are useless as they appear to refer to a different method of fixing, not difficult to work out but you need to be very precise when marking and then drilling the mount holes.The fixings supplied with this shelf are only suitable for solid walls.

I was unable to have the shelf put in place as it arrived with only part of the number of nails/screws required. Very frustrating. Amazon were very helpful with my concerns but were unable to resolve the problem as the supplier wasnt able/unhelpful to assist in supplying further screws/nails for me!! The shelf itself is nice but if you dont have the exact number of fittings then it is useless. An expensive mistake.

The instructions aren’t great, and seemingly contradict the actual shelf design. I marked up the wall for the anchor bolt fittings, and fixed those nice and tight. The bolts are snug in the shelves so shouldn’t rattle loose, but you could always knock a bolt with a rubber mallet outwards by a few mm to create more tension. Altogether pleased, look good, sturdy and happy they’re solid oak

The shelves seem to be of good quality; however, the wall fittings are the issue. They will only work if you are fixing the shelves to a solid brick wall. As these are intended for internal use, and most homes are plastered stud walls, they are impossible to fit with the fixings provided. The item description does not state this though. I have contacted the seller; however, they have not been forth coming with a response regarding a refund or supply of appropriate fixings.

All round great quality product and easy to install

No way of screwing both the screw end into the wall and the bolt end into the shelf at the same time. As a consequence, shelf will slide off. Instructions don't make any sense, picture and description seem to refer to different parts.

The wooden shelf was as described and satisfactory. However, the instructions are confusing and insufficient, and the shelf I received had mounting holes of three different sizes, 2 of them too small for the screws. In all honesty, it is appalling.

Fitting and design awful, and instructions not clear at all. “Screws” are hard to screw in, the shelf cannot be fixed on the bars and slides on and off easily - so it is not secure.
