If you don't rub it in it will stain you skin a little. Worked well but I would say it's about average in terms of waterproof and after swimming for any length of time you should re-apply or risk burn. Smell was good and product was fresh. Easy to apply but I don't think I would buy this sunscreen again because I didn't love the browning color and it didn't seem to enhance the color I got from the sun.
