How Does this do on cleaning the grime off kitchen cabinets and can you spray it directly on the wood

absolutely let your wood have it as this stuff is the bomb.com but, if you're talking about a house that has 50 years of buildup of not only cooking grime but heavy tobacco sludge (as does the house I just bought), it will require a plastic putty knife, a good bit of elbow 'grease' and a couple goings over with the Murphy's to get your wood breathing again. that's the beauty of Murphy's, it doesn't leave a filmy aftermath of that what seems to collect even more dirt and what not like the others (no names now but you know what i'm talkin about!) Murphy's cleans your wood and let's it breathe in the oil in the soap. just follow up with the Murphy's as weekly or monthly maintenance. my 102 year old grandma introduced me to Murphy's many moons ago and it's the only thing i use to clean my wood cabinets, floors and furniture.

Can this be used on veneer furniture?

As long as the veneer furniture has been sealed properly, I don’t see a problem whatsoever. Best advice would be to write the manufacturer.

When I use this to clean messes on my sealed and polyurethaned hard wood floors, the next day I see it left behind a white film. Is this normal?
