I’ve been using the GrowLED LED Umbrella Plant Grow Light for some time now, it’s been a great addition to my indoor plants. I ordered 3 of these lights... 2 with the wooden finish and 1 white. So far all 3 are in perfect working order and they all look nice with each plant. I have one dark corner in my living room where normal sunlight does not reach to support plants but with one of the lights I was able to put an umbrella plant in that dark spot and its growing really well. These lights are far more attractive than other hideously bright spikey lights I saw listed. I didn't want that look in my living room and these lights make my room cozier. Depending on how high or low the adjustable pole is situated in the plant, the light spills out well enough on nearby plants that they can absorb some of the light also. BONUS - I was very happy that each light had a toggle switch attached to the wire! Did not expect that feature so maybe its an upgrade? Very nice surprise! I would prefer not to use the timers and was prepared to just unplug the lights each night before I leave for work when I ordered them but the toggle switch makes these lights far easier to deal with and more appealing to own. If I need more lights in the future I'll definitely order more. I hope they last long because I'm very happy with them so far.

I finally found a LED light that really helps me grow the plants I keep inside of my home. One of the main things I look for is that the lamp I use is height adjustable. I used to have one that was in a fixed position, but once my plant outgrew it it was of little use. This LED light is excellent in being able to change the height and move it about to benefit my plants the most. In addition, the lights from this GrowLED is pure white! From what I have seen, this is much better than the purple lighting used in other growing lights. The pure white lights keep shining brightly for the duration that it stays on. You can even keep the light on as you do any trimming, or re-soiling of the plant, as it's actually comfortable to look at (compared to a purple light). I also take advantage of a built in timer. I normally have the light on for a few hours when I am not at home, and then it automatically turns off. This really helps me in keeping my plant fully nourished without having to go back to check on it throughout the day! With all of these features, I am surprised that it was in the lower range of prices for growing lights! I am extremely happy with my new GrowLED lights since they are such a good value, and will be ordering more soon.

In general, i think these lights are fine. it does its job, which is the most important. slight pricey for the product you get. there are several things that affected my rating: 1. the light is a lot smaller than i thought. this is partially my fault because i didn't read the dimension in detail. but by looking at the numerous pictures that they posted, they look so much bigger. the real diameter of the head is less than 4 inches. that's why i said a bit pricey for such a small light. 2. the red light in the light does not turn off completely, so it leaves a bit dimmed red color when it's off, at least in the area that i live in. 3.i use nursery pots and take them out of the out container to water the plant around the sink. you have to either unplug the light or take the light out of the pot to water. if you unplug the light, the light flops all over when you move the pot, if you take the light out of the pot, you have to re-insert it, which is extra disturbance to the root system. i kept them because they are functional and i cannot find other better options. i do turn the light off manually sometimes just to make sure they are completely off.

This little lamp is exactly what I needed. My nerve plant was sad and droopy. It came back to life in a matter of an hour thanks to this lamp. If the price ever goes down, I’ll be stocking up. I like the look and it does the job. I’m not confident it will last long in my house. It’s only as sturdy as the pot (or whatever) you stick it in and it’s top heavy. I caught it on the verge of tipping over and secured it with extra pebbles. All that being said...I was looking for an easy solution that looks decent (not the normal grow light look) and this fits the bill. I think it’s slightly overpriced, but that’s because I’m the cheap one in my family.

I have no idea how well it works for plants since I’ve only had it a week and haven’t had time to see growing results, but I can say that it was the perfect solution in the realm of size, design and ease of use. I live in an apartment so I was looking for something small and minimal that didn't take up space or I’d have to attach it to something else and this fits the bill since it sticks right inside the plant pot. The cord is a little annoying since it looks awkward hanging down from the top but I solved this by wrapping it around the pole. The telescoping is perfect to shine light on more plants in close proximity and will be useful as plants get taller. I’ll check back in im a few weeks to report back on whether or not I’ve had any issues!

The plant I bought this for seems quite happy with it, so there is that. But there is no way this thing is worth $25.00. My biggest complaint is the USB charger set up. Who the heck would be running this thing through a USB port? In addition there is no way to turn off the timer. Since my plant only needs about 6 hours of direct light a day, I have to keep track of the time and unplug it.

This little lamp does a pretty good job boosting light for houseplants that are too far from a window to grow well. It's not going to grow tomatoes for you, nor light a really big circle of plants, but it has done great for my syngonium and lipstick vine in a darker part of the livingroom. The timer is off by roughly 30 minutes, so about once a week I have to turn it off and back on to realign it with the daytime schedule I want, but that's much easier than my other untimed grow lamp that has to be manually operated every morning and evening. I do really like that it's a white-colored full spectrum, instead of purple, since it's in the livingroom and not a grow shelf. Overall it's pretty decent, and I would probably buy again if I needed to brighten up another corner with a couple small houseplants.

This lamp is great! I'm using it for my basil plant that kept dying on my kitchen window sill. It's really done the trick. Bought another one for a tropical plant that looked a bit sad.

The light is small, it is effective if you have a small plant. However, not sure if it will be able to support a larger plant. The wire comes in directly from the light, so it looks a little ungainly hanging loosely about. Also, the wire length is pretty short, so need to either use an extension or place it near the outlet. Finally, there is no additional controls to set up time limits, so have to manually switch on/off.

This plant light works well. It's easy to set up and gives good light (the plants seem to like it). You have to reset it if the power goes out but it is good value for the money.

Just received and works well so far. The only problem for me is the supporting stick is in the middle of the light, which make it the shape of umbrella. I would prefer the stick on the edge which similar to a regular lamp. But its not a big problem.
