S&B Golden Curry Sauce Mix, Hot, 7.8 Ounce

No matter what restaurant I go to, I've never had curry as good as I can make with this. Golden curry just tastes unbeatable.

Using the Golden Curry roux mix makes for a reasonably easy and quick meal that really hits the spot, especially on cold or at least colder days when a person needs something to warm them up. This does that quite well. Managed to find the mild/medium US versions with no problem. Also a bit larger in side than I was able to find locally, so definitely had sauce leftover. Wanted to try something with a bit more of spicy-kick and this did a pretty decent job. Not as spicy as Indian or Thai curries, but a good alternative for those that can't handle the super-hot foods, but still want to try a little. Usually make up a chicken curry with potatoes, onions, carrots, and tomatoes, which works out great. Takes a little bit of work to prep everything, but well worth the effort that doesn't disappoint. Just follow the directions and a person shouldn't have any issues. Definitely recommend.

Best curry sauce! This curry sauce makes the best Japanese curry dish- just add carrots, onions and potato and serve with your favorite katsu chicken and rice!

Sometimes I just need a basic, simple, tasty curry and that is exactly what I get from the S&B Golden curry. I love the hot version and literally have at least one box of it in our pantry all the time. This is so easy to make and serve. I add baby carrots and potatoes with either boneless chicken or beef and serve over rice. It freezes was leftovers to be reheated in the microwave.

I first got used to this stuff when I wa sin grad school in the 90s, and for some reason, I lost track of it. I just found it again when looking for curry sauces, and it's as delicious and easy to use as it ever was.

I love Japanese’s curry and this taste authentic. And the price is fair. It lasts about 2weeks for me as I used 1 small block of curry to cook chicken curry and it’s enough for the flavour to serve for 2 people meals

If it’s your first time making curry, you might think it’s too thick. It is not. I promise you. Cook it as per box instructions, and then add whatever sauces and spices you want after it’s done.I removed the onion because I hate onion, and it turned out fine. If you want to remove an ingredient, that’s fine, just use more of the other ingredients. I used more potato.Also, the box can lie to you at times, I recommend boiling your carrot slices in boiling water for about 15 minutes before using them in the recipe, as the time on the box will still need to be increased by like 15 or so minutes to get buttery smooth and softened carrots.

As it says, this is Japanese curry cubes, used to cook Japanese curry. Not much to complain about it. Tastes like Japanese curry, savoury.
