You are able to twist the bulb and the extra cable will tie under the bulb. Cool function but i taped the excess cable in the back. It just looked a bit cleaner. Setting up the lights and figuring out placement was a little scary, but they have two extra sticky pieces if you make a mistake. The adhesive is very strong! Lights are very bright, and the cool toned ones are very cool (I will probably just be using the warm setting). They look cute and are going to make my vanity desk functional.
