WARNING: New Model not as pictured \ not as good
WARNING: The gloves you will receive are not the same as pictured. I have had a pair of the as pictured gloves for 5 years and loved them. When I lost one of the gloves I ordered a new pair from amazon. What you receive is a new model with more padding on the knuckles, a looser fit and way less dexterity. DON'T buy if you want something like the original as pictured gloves.

Finger seams split in less than 3 weeks of use
I used these gloves with a chainsaw for cutting trees, branches and brush. Although the gloves were very comfortable they are not durable. The seams in the fingers split in less than 3 weeks. Amazon refunded my purchase price without question. Good customer service.

Runs small - solid protection
These run a little small. They are also stiffer with all of the protective surfaces. Your hands will fatigue a little quicker than with a looser and lighter material glove. They do protect your hands.Update: after several months of use - I would buy them again. They are holding up. They have loosened up some, but the rubber bits still make it stiffer than others. They are my "go-to" outdoor glove unless I need to replace a bolt/nut or anything that size.

Best Garden Gloves for Missouri
Missouri Dirt "eats" gloves. It's full of flint or "chert" that has knife like edges ((used to be used to make arrowheads). I had bought another pair of expensive gloves hoping the would hold up but After buying them in May by June, stitches were popped and holes were showing. I'm not a commercial grower but I do have a large hobby garden done mostly by hand. I will admit I've only used these gloves half a season so far (will update review next year) but so far other than being dirty they're totally undamaged, not a single stitch popped, no holes, not even a good scuff mark. They are expensive but I have arthritis in both hands so I need the protection. I was at first worried about the blouse cuff, being used to the Velcro strap type but they work wonderfully. I got the X large size as I usually ave a hard time finding gloves that I can get into, these are snug but I like them that way. I don't intentionally abuse them but I feel like I don't need to worry about them at all. If I had any feedback it would be two things1. Perhaps a model with more padding in the palm and fingers2 Maybe a different color like hunter orange (They've gotten dirty and I'm concerned I'll lose them) You won't be displeased with these for toughness, The Terminator of Gloves!

... gloves are not designed to provide but they were useless vs black berries
Maybe I'm expecting protection that these gloves are not designed to provide but they were useless vs black berries, so has me questioning whether I really want them on scene. So far I've found that leather gloves are superior.

The gloves worked great and handled everything that was thrown at them
Used during a week long VMR tech course. The gloves worked great and handled everything that was thrown at them.

Love the fit
I have to say these are really nice. I wear large structural gloves and these fit the same. They go on easy, fit is perfect and finger length is perfect. The palm pad is double sewn which should last the life of the glove. I really like the color as well. Nice change from the flashy colors

Not for me...
Well, based on the other reviews it looks like I am the lone voice of dissent at this point... that's ok! Maybe it's a great product and I just had a bad run with them. Here's what I liked: These gloves are very well made. Good stitching, reinforcements on the stress points, quality material. I will give them full marks for that. Also, I compared the padded areas (knuckles, etc) to some other gloves I have and they were far superior. When I flipped them over and saw the texture on the palm I was all excited... until I tried gripping something with them... and that gets us into...Here's what I did NOT like: The Palms... based on the texturing I was expecting some kind of enhanced grip. In reality these were so slippery that I found myself losing grip. I would say that these grip worse then regular leather gloves. Also, the wrist gauntlet is a very nice feature but I found the elastic was gaping in places and could easily see glass or debris making it down there (the exact opposite of what that gauntlet was there for). My biggest gripe though was the interior/fit. On the interior edges of the fingers (where the top of the finger and the bottom of the finger come together) was like little razors. Just a few minutes of wearing these produced chaffing and discomfort. Also the sizing was weird. I ordered a Large (which is what I am in most other gloves) and found the fingers to be too long and the palm to be too tight. All in all I think there is some real possibility in this glove (esp if they change the palm pads) but it just wasn't' what I needed.

Not protecting against sharp objects
After using it just few times it looked like the protective layer in couple of fingers was gone. It wasn’t protecting anymore against sharp objects. Had to return it.

Fantastic Gloves!
I love these gloves. I work on a Ranch and these really protect your hands when working the field clearing brush, removing wood, tree branches and other debris. Works well handling wire too.

These gloves work well in many situations.
These are very excellent gloves. The first benefit is the standardized fitting. With leather gloves, there is always the chance that the left and right hand gloves may not really be the same size. With these gloves, what you buy, is what you get. They are lightweight, even when wet, and they dry well over a heat duct, or just on a bench in a work room. They are tough and you can grab something without being cut. They work well for firewood cutting because with the elastic cuff, your gloves don't fill up with chips. If you work in a muddy situation, you can rinse the gloves off with a hose. The XXX-Large gloves are difficult to find, and I am glad Amazon carries them. They have a broad reach between thumb and index finger when picking up pieces of firewood. They grip well. The yellow color makes them easier to find in a work area. After working with them for a while, when I went to put on my gloves, I found a cut in one of the fingers. I appreciated that it wasn't in my hand, but the rest of the glove was still in good condition. I put on a pair of latex gloves, put my finger into the cut glove finger then spread Shoe Goo, or some form of GOOP glues over the cut on the outside. When the glue dried, I could use the gloves again. [ You do not have to keep your finger in the glove, until the glue dries... ]Also you can use Shoe Goo or some form of GOOP glues when the reinforcement "leather" comes loose because of the little stitches they use. Just spread a little glue under the loose flap, press it down and hold it in place with masking tape for a while, and the glove is "good as new."BTW- If you're in blackberry country, these don't work for pulling them. The thorns pierce right through. For that work, you may well want to go back to thick leather gloves.

Need a glove that lasts?
Best glove I have found in over 60 years for overall durability. Love it. Bought three. One for my wife and one for a spare! Only complaint is it is not waterproof. Your hands can get cold quickly in the winter cutting and splitting wood. Otherwise, great glove.
