WernerD Rung Extension Ladder 2.97m Triple

Bit heavy for me but very feel secure when I'm up it, little or no wobble, different from my thinner two section ladder this one replaced, I had no confidence up that one!

I read good things about Werner and decided to choose this ladder based on their reputation and price. I was not disappointed.I have a fear of heights and so I wanted to make sure the ladders I used were as safe as possible. That meant they needed to be sturdy, not overly heavy, have good slip resistant rungs and a stable base.This set of ladders has all of these features. The base is very large, featuring a very wide stabilising bar that stops the ladders wobbling or slipping sideways even when the ladders are fully extended.It's also worth mentioning that there are thimb ioperated locking catches on each section of the ladders to stop sections from coming apart in use or when being moved about and the third section doesn't come away due to new safety regulations.I've used these extensively and I feel more comfortable now working at heights, because I know that this is a very safe set of ladders and whether I am working part way up or near the top of the ladders, they don't move once in position.To make them even better, I recommend a special ladder standoff, which allows you to work safely on corners, over the top of drainpipes and gutters, providing a surface to keep tools on and making the very top of the ladder even more stable whilst avoiding damaging gutters, drainpipes and brickwork.They aren't extremely lightweight and moving them when fully extended is challenging if you aren't used to moving ladders around, but the square rung design does make a difference to the overall weight without compromising on strength. Considering their size, the weight is reasonable.

First ladder arrived on quick delivery but with a dented rung. Amazon offered replacement but because of estimated long delivery and having to loose a day waiting in, I cancelled it within minuites via online chat. However a delivery van arrived two days later with new ladder but took it away again. Then another van arrived to collect the first one. So looks like their online chat person didnt cancel the replacement. However the ladder itself is strong with a positive locking mechanism, albeit a touch heavy. Hired this Werner one before so knew it was good. Good price from Amazon.

Bought for getting up to clean my gutters .Item unexpectedly arrived well ahead of delivery date given.Very well made ladder if a bit heavy.

Brilliant very sturdy ladders that are more than man enough for any job for a diy or trade person. The only problem I did have was the dent on one of the rungs. That was fixed with a call to Amazon 👍🏻👍🏻

Before I moved to this house I had a two-section ladder, which was absolutely enormous, and extremely heavy. This one is much better, since the three sections make it easier to store and manoeuvre, even if still quite heavy. Not so impressed with the supplier. Delivery info changed a few times and ended with it saying it had already been delivered when I was still waiting for it, which caused me a lot of wasted time with Amazon querying that. Item was scruffy and some rungs had small dents and the lower end protectors were all scuffed showing signs of use. I decided to live with it as I’d been awaiting ages to do a job. But this looked like a used item.
