As a bedside safe, it performs perfectly. The fingerprint reader responds extremely quickly, truly opening the door in an instant. In critical situations, it never fails. The entire device gives a very reliable impression; the lock is tight and there is no cheap, flimsy feeling. The setup process is also extremely easy to use, with clear feedback from the buttons. This product that combines high technology and high security is not only practical but also enables you to handle unexpected situations calmly.

We are guardians of my niece, and I cannot and will not leave my gun laying around where she can get at it, even at night. I picked this up because I like the biometrics on this because it will open in a split second without a key or entering a combination. I mounted this on the side of my night stand, easy to install and even easier to access when you need it! Well worth the money for its safety and easy of use!

First of the negatives. 1. The other reviewers pointing out the difficulty of installing the internal screw were spot on. I ended up filing out the hole in the case to allow the screw hole to line up and not bind up the screw. Poorly engineered. Adding a bit of space towards the bottom helped 2. After it was mounted it wobbled, especially when it was opening, as there was excess space between the mounting bracket and the case. I installed felt spacers on the case to fill the space and stop the wobbling, again poorly engineered. 3. The mounting screw seem a bit on the light side when it comes to securing the case to the mount. I'm sure it wouldn't take much of a pry bar to rip the case off the bracket. Think using 4 or more of those screws would have been a bit more secure. The good: 1. Fingerprint works almost everytime. 2. Keypad is a great option and works everytime. 3. Plenty of room for a fullsize pistol. 4. Multiple mounting options with the bracket are very convenient. 5. Case works great as a bedside mount. Seems solid built. Not sure how long the batteries will last but with a key as back up I'm fine. I think all in all when on sale, 20% off, this was a great purchase. At full price I might still buy it. Will come back in 6 months and update.

I bought this safe as a gift for my husband, and it arrived yesterday. From the moment we opened the box, we were impressed by the quality of the materials and how sturdy it feels. The design is modern, compact, and well-made—exactly what we were looking for. Setting up the fingerprint access was quick and easy, and we really appreciate having the keypad and backup keys as additional security options. The interior light was an unexpected feature that turned out to be very useful. Although we’ve only had it for a short time, our first impression has been excellent. It feels like a well-designed product with great attention to detail and a very good value for the price. My husband was very happy with the gift, and I’m very pleased with the purchase. So far, I would definitely recommend it!🥰😊

The fingerprint recognition speed of this RPNB smart gun cabinet truly amazed me! After a simple setup process, each press opens almost instantly with no delay, and the speed at which the cover is raised is very fast, which is crucial in emergency situations. The keyboard lock, as an alternative solution, is also very reliable, with a clear input feel. The installation process is very simple, and the included screws are very sturdy, firmly fixed to the wall without any movement. The automatic opening design is more ergonomic than the traditional side-pull type, making the gun retrieval action more continuous.

Safe works great, exactly as described. Set-up was very easy, its takes 4 AAA batteries and the fingerprint setup took less than a minute to do. I realized registering the same finger multiple times increased the success of opening the safe with that finger. Good space within the safe for my firearm. Also, was fairly easy to mount, as the mounting plate it comes with gives you multiple options for how you want to mount it. Most importantly, in my opinion, is it allows for extremely quick access to your protection, without sacrificing safety. Overall, great product that I haven’t had any negative issues with.

Instructions were very clear & concise. Installation was incredibly easy, we experienced no difficulties other purchasers mentioned. Safe appears well made, but also with quick & easy access. Like the 3 methods of entry. Also holds my device safe & secure. As others have mentioned, this is not theft prevention, although I do believe it would cover that in a typical quick home robbery, this is a purchase for us to have quick access while keeping our littles, & future company with littles safe.

So, I purchased this item thinking that I could fasten it to the side of my nightstand. Installing it to the side of my nightstand was a breeze. After it was installed, though, the thing wobbles every time the door swings open and hits the rubber bumper on the bottom, causally due to there being only a single hand-tightened screw holding the unit to the steel plate. We all know it takes two or more screws to fasten anything down securely. Alas, a project for another time. Secondly, I purchased a Sig Sauer P365 SAS (Sig Anti-Snag) pistol to put in this unit, however, the foam that came with the unit is pre-cut and sized to fit a MUCH larger pistol, such as a Colt 1911. The opening on the bottom of the foam sits so far back, the nose of the Sig doesn't even reach the face of the foam in front of it. The good thing is that the foam isn't glued into the unit. So, I ended up cutting about 1.5" in on the bottom-front so the trigger guard sits inside the foam, and 1.5" on the front-bottom so my Sig didn't flop out of the foam, however, this left a huge gap at the front-top, so I stuffed my spare magazine into foam on top of the sig's slide to secure it in place. TG for SAS! Now, when the door shuts, the Sig doesn't flop around inside the unit. I may end up buying another piece of cut-to-size foam, and cut out my own, tighter openings for my Sig and spare mag. Alas, another project for another time. The other thing I noticed is that the fingerprint reader only recognizes your finger from one direction that you saved it in unless you register the same finger the maximum number of times so it can be recognized from several angles and directions. I would highly suggest doing so. You don't want to be in a situation where you wake up out of a dead sleep, try to press your finger onto the pad, and it doesn't recognize so you have to re-adjust your finger...no. Just register the same finger several times from multiple directions and angles and be done with it. Make life easy for later. Three suggestions I would make for this unit: 1) Add a second hand-fastener and screw hole to the steel plate as well as the unit so the unit can be hand-fastened AND firmly secured to the steel plate with TWO hand-fastening screws. 2) Leave the foam inside the unit UNCUT so we can cut the foam to-size for our firearms. 3) Sell uncut foam inserts for use when changing out firearms in the same unit. These suggestions just make common sense. I give this product a solid 3 out of 5 for usability, the ability to modify, and to fabricate multiple foams to customize in order to fit different firearms, whichever firearm I decide to house inside the unit. Overall? Good unit for the price, but you may have to make modifications to the unit and possibly the foam insert depending on your situation.
