The Bougainvillea for your clematis would be okay, but we would recommend that you go with a Plumeria Food instead (5-30-5). Clematis are heavy feeders, but tend to require less Nitrogen and more Phosphorus for beautiful blooms. Certainly, the Bougainvillea will provide nutrients and feed your clematis, and your soil/media and water quality all factor in to a degree. Maybe try the Bougainvillea and if you are noticing beautiful green and lots of buds but lack of blooms, switch to the higher-phosphorus Plumeria to get the blooms out. Hope this helps but feel free to reach out directly if there is anything else we can do for you. Thank you, SA Dealz!" **Q: Do you need go mix it or is it time released pellets?** A: time release granules - no missing - dissolves as plant is watered **Q: Will this work for bower vines? aka pandorea jasminodes? thanks** A: See my previous answer to another question. Same answer applies. **Q: Is this ok to use on azaleas, oleander, and/or hibiscus?** A: Hibiscus, Mandevillas, tropical vining plants ## Frequently Bought Together - Nelson Plant Food - Bougainvillea Fertilizer - Outdoor and Indoor Plant Fertilizer - All Purpose Plant Food for Vines - Easy Use Granular Fertilizer (2 lb) - GARDENWISE Professional Citrus Fertilizer + Vital Micronutrients; Perfect Balanced NPK for All Citrus; for Indoor and Outdoor Plants; Orange, Lime, Avocado and Lemon Tree Fertilizer (2 QUARTS) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/12799970-nelson-plant-food-for-all-flowering-vines-bougainvillea-trumpet-wisteria](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/12799970-nelson-plant-food-for-all-flowering-vines-bougainvillea-trumpet-wisteria) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
