Okay to use on Clematis?

"Hello, Thanks so much for your interest in the Nelson Plant Food products! The Bougainvillea for your clematis would be okay, but we would recommend that you go with a Plumeria Food instead (5-30-5). Clematis are heavy feeders, but tend to require less Nitrogen and more Phosphorus for beautiful blooms. Certainly, the Bougainvillea will provide nutrients and feed your clematis, and your soil/media and water quality all factor in to a degree. Maybe try the Bougainvillea and if you are noticing beautiful green and lots of buds but lack of blooms, switch to the higher-phosphorus Plumeria to get the blooms out.
