As good as the original
Great replacement eyecup for Sony cameras. Fits perfectly, feels comfortable to use, and stays securely attached. Much better than expected for the price and does a good job blocking stray light when shooting outdoors. Highly recommended

Cuts out much more light than the original. Nothing to complain about, but worth noting that this does NOT fit the A7R V, which has a wider viewfinder, so this eye piece is too small to straddle the mount. It doesn’t mention the V in the description, but I figured I’d take the risk. It does fit the IV perfectly.

Fits the camera with no issues Just slides down the gentle push down and it clicks in place. Also the eyecup is good a fit for the eye Blocks out the light so that the DV can be seen clearly. Pictures show without, with the std supplied & extended eyecup. Also side by side view of the eyecaps

Fits perfectly on my A7III and also my eye socket.... Feels soft and comfortable and EVF much more fun to use now.

Excellent Eyecup, Far Better Than the Stock One
After using the Sony Alpha 7III extensively, one of the few things I found lacking was the standard eyecup that comes with the camera. It’s functional, but not particularly comfortable or durable, especially during extended shooting sessions or in bright outdoor conditions. That’s why I decided to upgrade to this aftermarket eyecup, and I must say, it’s an excellent product and a must-have accessory for any serious A7III user.

A great alternative
A great addition to the A7C as it doesn't have the greatest EVF. This helps block out the light so you can see your image clearly. comfortable when taking landscape picture a little less so when taking portraits but certainly not a deal breaker The obvious downside is that it uses to hot shoe mount but I have found this to be very situational and if I do need to use it I can simply and quickly remove it.
