My kitties really enjoyed this flavor. No odor . They get bored with the same flavors. I like to mix it up. Its like a Mc Dondalds treat for them. Not everyday.

Of all the Weruva BFF OMG varieties, this is practically the only one my cat will eat. It has chicken mixed with salmon, which I think explains why sometimes the meat can vary in color, as in, sometimes it's more red, a few times not so much?

I have 2 cats who will pretty much eat anything, so with that being said, they like this. There are other B.F.F. wet foods they don't like, but this one they both will eat. I like that it's low in phosphorous. Lots of gravy in this wet food. I've honestly found the B.F.F. wet foods to be hit or miss with my cats. My cats seem to prefer the fishy B.F.F. wet foods over the poultry, beef, or lamb flavors.

We purchased this for our cat with chronic kidney disease (CKD), but unfortunately, he did not eat it. Our other cat, who does not have CKD, was also uninterested. The texture was good and a bit soupy, which I think a lot of cats enjoy. On top of this, I do think you get a good amount of food for the price. That said, my cats are not normally picky, and they did not enjoy it. I would say it is worth trying though.

It is hard for me to rate a cat food product because my opinion really isn't all that important if the cats enjoy it. However, I want to note all likes and dislikes in case anyone has a picky cat in their household. We have five cats ranging from 17 to 5 years old and two are quite picky. One basically hates ALL new foods! The consistency is very, very watery, You can basically pour it out of the pouch. It has more of a bisque-like consistency rather than a pate consistency. Pates are normally a bit firmer. This pate has some minced pieces but the majority was definitely gravy. 4 out of our 5 cats loved this food!! (and I mean licked-the-bowl-clean LOVED it!!) Our pickiest cat wouldn't touch it, wouldn't even taste it. (no surprise because she pretty much hates everything except her favorite brand) The food has a VERY pungent smell - overpowering nor pleasant in my opinion. Again, I guess it doesn't really matter if I like the smell as long as the cats like it and they sure didn't seem to mind it! If anything, it seemed to spark their interest even more because they would sniff the air every time the pouches were opened. The pouch itself is easy to open and wasn't too messy to serve from. It's a bit tricky to get all of the minced food out of the bottom of the pouch but I was able to get the majority of it with a spoon. Overall, our cats really enjoyed this! It is absolutely wonderful for senior kitties that have trouble chewing larger pieces of food. Both our 17 and 14 year old cats gobbled this up without hesitation! They appreciated the more watery consistency because it didn't involve much chewing. You can get a good idea of the consistency from the pictures I included. Wonderful company, nutritious food, and something that I feel confident about serving to my cats!

Cats love it!

I was unfamiliar with this brand until recently. Now, I'm pretty sure my cats will never let me forget about it. They LOVE this stuff! Prudence and Paisley each get half a can of wet cat food in the mornings and have access to dry kibble throughout the day. We have tried so many brands of cat food to find their favorite. They aren't super picky, fortunately, but they do clearly prefer some foods to others. I have never seen them react like they do to this food, though! They absolutely LOVE it! It comes in a pouch that contains 2.8 ounces of food. For reference, that's about half the size of a can of 9Lives, and slightly smaller than the 3-ounce Fancy Feast can. There is less in these pouches than in the other cat food cans that I usually use, so I have been either giving each cat their own pouch or splitting it and offering it as a special treat. It is VERY soupy, so it can be used as a meal topper for kibble, too. I'm guessing the big thing my girls love about it is the taste. But there are a lot of things I love about it, too! Firstly, I love what's NOT in it. No gluten, no grain, no carrageenan, no artificial colors or preservatives. It is made by a family owned and operated company in human food facilities from cage-free chicken and wild-caught dolphin-safe salmon. I usually add water to my girls' breakfast because cats are notorious for allowing themselves to get dehydrated, but this food has such a high moisture content that I don't need to do that. While the pouches don't seem to be conveniently recyclable (i.e., you can't just throw them in your home recycling bin), they do partner with Terracycle to give the pouches an upcycled second life. That's cool and better than nothing, but I do wish this product came in a more easily recycled package. There are a lot of reasons to recommend this cat food, but the most important one is how much my cats love it! It's a little expensive for our budget, but it's worth it to know it's ethically made. I will continue to give it to them as a twice-weekly treat to make them so happy!
