Laxatone Maple-Flavored Hairball Remedy Gel for Cats and Kittens, 4.25oz

Vet recommended this for our Flemish giant rabbit who had stomach bloat which may/may not have been caused by hair not being passed. We started giving her this stuff, which she went crazy for, and it made a substantial difference in her bloat plus bowel movements. Works very well!

My cat used to cough up hairballs on a daily basis, leaving little messes all over the house. My daughter recommended this product to me, so I decided that I might as well give it a try. I specifically got this brand, because another reviewer said it was the best. I bought the original/regular, which is malt flavored. I know that sounds a little weird, but my cat has no problem eating it. I put about half of a teaspoon on his food every night. As long as he gets it on a daily basis, he is fine with little to no coughing and puking. Recently, I ran out of the first tube and we had to wait for the new tube to arrive. That was when I realized what a huge difference it had made. In just a couple of days, my cat went right back to coughing and leaving messes everywhere. As soon as he started on it again, he was completely better after the second dose. I don't know what I will do if they ever stop making this product. My only criticism is that there is an inner seal that is very difficult to remove. I guess it needs to be there, but I do wish the manufacturer could come up with something easier to open.

The cat likes the flavor, let's see if it does the job. The product is a bit messy as it does not stop oozing out of the packaging. I'm not sure how this could be remedied.

This is a great product. We give it to our rabbits (1/2 to 1 teaspoon) once a week to keep any hair ingested moving through. Rabbits can't cough up hair like cats can. They love the maple flavoring so much, it's like giving them Crack. 🤣

we purchased the tuna one previously. my cat usually loves fishy flavors, but it became such a chore and hassle trying to give it to him weekly. however, we were pleasantly surprised that all his hairball regurgitation had ended! we decided to try a different flavor, maple, and he LOVES IT!!! we can just put it on his food and he’ll lick it right off, even if he’s not hungry and doesn’t eat the food right then. very pleased - the price is definitely worth not having to deal with nasty regurgitation clean ups, plus the stress and anxiety of worrying about a GI obstruction/blockage!

Does what it says, my cats not only eat it happily (maple flavour), they beg for it. Seller was great, delivery arrived sooner than expected
