This knife is very sharp and heavy duty larger than some other pocket knives really great for what it is

Good knife, with a well-made feel. Shipped new-in-box with plenty of packing grease (wipe it down before you put it in your pocket). Speaking of pockets, this knife is LARGE. Yes, it does say 5" in the description, but don't forget to look for a width dimension, it's easily over 2" wide at the hilt and the blade is much broader than the picture suggests. It will probably end up in the glove box. Open assist spring is plenty strong for this big blade though, in fact it takes intentional effort to close it. The blade is well sharpened, we'll see how long that lasts and how well it take a new edge from various sharpeners. I have a smaller MTech that does pretty good, with a good sharpener. The seat belt cutter is heavy, sharp, and seems like it will stay in place for the duration. The only thing that is a bit worrying is the glass breaker. I can't tell if it's welded, molded, riveted, or screwed on, so I'll have to put the knife through it's paces to be sure it's going to stay in it's place. Overall, for the price it appears to be a good knife. As with all things, only time will tell.

Knives are like guns- you can never have too many!I’ve really become a fan of these Mtech knives. They are what I would consider “disposable” knives (or I guess I should say “very inexpensive “ knives), but are a great bang for the buck. As others have said- this thing is big, and plenty stout. The blade won’t win any awards, as it doesn’t hold an edge for very long ( and I would not expect a knife this inexpensive to do so) but it’s a great every day carry knife or something to throw in your truck or boat. I wouldn’t be using it to clean game - but more for general “beater” use.The looks are second to none in my opinion- Old Glory just looks on anything. It’s a pretty bada$$ looking blade. Plus it has one of those windshield breaker knobs on the end. Nice touch. I went ahead and bought a few them- and will probably buy more- just to hand out to my friends. Highly recommend.

This knife feels solid right out of the box. The spring assist opens smoothly and quickly, and the blade is sharp enough for everyday tasks or outdoor use. I love the American flag design — it looks even better in person and makes it stand out. The handle feels comfortable in my hand, and the pocket clip makes it easy to carry. Great quality for the price — I’m really glad I picked this up!
