Just my thoughts **Q: my question is this does the breaker b like 2breaker at 30 to make it a 60 or one at 60,,???** A: You can use two 30 amps or one double throw 60 amp. **Q: I notice some listings and/or websites state only 1 x 6 awg is needed and others say 2 x 6 awg is needed. which is correct?** A: Wow, purpose of circuit breaker is to protect the conductor. If #6 wire (rated at 55 max) then the breaker should match and since 55a breakers are rare you'll use a 50a so the breaker will shut off before the conductor burns@!!!! Apparently official installers don't have to be licensed electricians. **Q: why is there a price difference between the green model and regular one of the same size** A: I don't know.
