The handle is a little lighter in color than I expected, but it's still a good looking knife. It arrived very sharp, and it's a nice knife to hold and to use. The steel is a little softer than you get on a more expensive knife, but that means it will be easier to hone and sharpen, and it's what I wanted. The blade is 3mm thick, which means it's probably not the first knife I'll reach for to cut up celery and onions, but for meat and larger items it'll do the trick. Arrived in a nice box, securely packaged, with no blemishes that I can see. It's now hanging up with my other knives, and I love it.
