These are great treats, 100% natural liver, made in USA and my dog loves them!

Recommended by dog's trainer. Rather large pieces for a 4 month puppy, so I cut them into manageable sizes (more cost effective too). Puppy loves them. Firm treats. Great reward for stay, come, sit, down. Gotta admit hold your nose if you don't like the aroma from liver! The things we do for our dogs.

We were buying a prescription chewable medication for our pug that was about $45/month and only worked for two weeks out of the month. We had been given some samples at our local pet store of different treats including several different Raw Rewards. Leo took a real liking to the beef liver and we began to notice a change in his coat. Much softer, and within a few weeks the itching/scratching had stopped. There is a lot of nutrients and vitamins in liver and we now use them as treats. I cut them up into 1/4" size which averages about two full size bites a day. Couldn't be happier, and their made about ten miles from my home in Portland Oregon. I've also begun to mix in some beef heart which has a lot of fat with the muscle. He doesn't like the beef heart as much but both help fight dry skin and are 100% all natural, freeze dried organ meats. These are made as a side product at a slaughter house in North Portland. Basically they are a zero waste slaughter house and I like that. They also offer a wide range of frozen pet foods.

For this review, I will have to turn the keyboard over to River and Sheela. They ask me to tell you that these were okay tasting, but not nearly as yummy as the bison liver treats made by the same company. River ( who will eat anything including manure) will eat these treats, but Sheela ( being a more refined lady) has turned her snout up and walked away. They used to both eagerly line up for the bison treats. HOWEVER, price wise these are a bargin. The 10 ounce bag cost the same as 3 ounces of the bison treat.

My dogs love this treat. Sometimes I use it as a food topper and they dive right in!

My dog goes crazy for these liver treats - they are always her favorite. They are rich so I split them up into smaller pieces. I also put them in the food processor to sprinkle the powder over her food as a treat.
