Doesn’t work , don’t use for a camera
This doesn’t work. I purchased a new camera for my existing monitor but my monitor takes a 2.5mm and the camera cord came with an RCA connector. Perfect I thought I would be able to use this adapter and everything would work well. Nothing worked at all when I used this adapter. I was contacting the camera company and checking out the cords to ensure everything was set up properly and it was. I asked for a replacement cord from the camera company not imagining that this adapter didn’t work as advertised!

Not Compatable with Carpuride
If you are trying to use this cable to attach a back-up camera to a Carpuride CarPlay & Android Auto unit, it won't work. The 2.5 mm AV-in connector is not compatible with the Carpuride unit.

This works perfectly with the Magellan GPS and Pyle backup camera I bought my partner for Christmas. He now has an all in one solution for his car.

Perfect for GPS that has video capability. This worked great for my Rand McNally TND 730 and my old TND 720.
