8 Year Review - It is a work horse
Purchased in 2016 and has been running for our sprinkler system pulling the water from the retention waterway. It primes flawlessly. It has been outdoors 100% exposed to the elements here in FL without any problems. I have flushed it a few times with fresh water because I would loose the water vacuum pressure which was caused by the index valve (switches station after every on/off from the pump). That also brings another point, it has been used in an on/off sequence. This puts added stress on the electronic components and the overall unit, still runs like new.I was lucky to get it back when it was around $350, everything now costs crazy more. Would I buy it now at the new price? I am not sure, there is plenty of other pump systems out there that might work as good as this one for half the price. Will it last as long as this one? if the pump lasts 5 years at half the price, that is not bad in my opinion. But if you just want to spend the money and not worry for the next few decades? Yup, "shut up and take my money"!

Excellent design
This pump is rock solid. Using it as an irrigation pump, and some of feed water is not of the best quality but goes thru the pump with absolutely zero issues. It is replacing the exact same pump assembly that finally wore out after ten years of continuous service. Overall and excellent investment.

We got swindled
We bought this pump. Gouldsboro is supposed to be a good one. They said it was dropped during shipping and had asthetic damage only, gave us a discount and told us we could return within 30 days...of the order. Well it took a while to get it and then to have it installed. Then...nothing but problems. But it was new and supposedly ok soInstead of just hiring someone again to now take in back out and send it back...we spent money checking our system, we'll, etc....only to finally be told the pump is bad by 3 different places. I tried contacting this seller 3 times...never got a reply. The pump completely froze this year, will cost and additional $700 to rebuild! We have no options but to try small claims. Posting, and the agencies designed gor such. An irrigation pump shouldn't go bad. Loose its prime, and completely poop out in 1 season. They swindled us by saying it was "asthetic only" and then us not receiving it, getting it installed, and figuring it out in time to be able to return it. Probably some shell company that is just reselling phony stuff as legit. Don't buy from seller. They have not reached out to us whatsoever. I'm surprised Amazon allows them to sell on their site. Come on Ama,on, you can do better than this. Update: irrigation company quoting repairs said another issue would cost another $400. They did say $25 core charge is all they could offer us.

Bullet Proof reliable
This is my 3rd irrigator pump but not at same location. Every house I buy that has a well irrigation system, I swap out the pump, when it fails, for an irrigator. Why? Because the dam things are built like tanks. In my first house where one was installed, the pump lost prime and over heated seizing up. So I ordered a new one. In the days it took for new pump to arrive, the old seized pump was just left off. On the day I had planned to swap it out (thinking it was still siezed) I flipped on power and the dam thing started up and ran and continued to run for the many years I lived at that address. If you install any well pump, you really need a pressure sensor to detect when prime is lost and kill power to avoid overheating and damage. The pumped water cools the pumps and it's important they don't run dry for too long. I never had an irrigator pump fail in 20 years. The cheap zoellers always fail and when they did, I swap them with an irrigator....

My water pump
I use this pump to replace an old Wayne's pump, after I installed it and tested it, right away started leaking water, I know if I do anything to fix it it will remove product warranty, but if I disconnect it and return it will it take from 5 to 7 more days to reconnect it back, so I decided to fix it, disconnect the propeller and notice de rubber gasket was not placed right and it was moved to one side, I removed it and fixed right and reassembled back , after testing back pump was running perfect no leaks.

Runs greats. Lots of pressure. Much improvement over my last pump. Seems solid. Reliable company. Hoping the pump will last for years.
