This is another great EDC from TwoSun. In a line of knives on the heavier side, this one comes in a little lighter, with no loss of quality. Let's talk about sharpness. I've been a knife collector for 31 years. I've owned, sharpened and repaired hundreds of knives and other than the convex blades of my Japanese folded steel, these have all been sharper than anything else by leaps and bounds. So sharp, that in the initial clean-up of the shipping oil, I managed a cut on my left index finger nearly to the bone and never felt it. I realized it only when the polishing tag suddenly turned red. 5 stitches were required. This brings me to the D2 steel, that is very real. And if you're not familiar with it, there's an easy way to identify it, though you need to be very careful. If you're familiar with blades, you know that unless it's Japanese folded steel, even the sharpest blade feels somewhat rough at the cutting edge. D2 does not if it's sharpened well, which these are. The cutting edge is smooth as a razors edge, which is the first time I've ever used that figure if speech taking about a knife blade. The term gets thrown around far too often when it's simply not true. In this case it is. Review: Nice for the price. - Nice for the price. Lack of lock bar over travel stop means your screwed if you push the lock too far out. Backspacer is needlessly heavy. Barrels would have been a better. Killer tip is too delicate for even medium use. Needs ealier, slower distal taper.
