#1 New York Times bestselling author Julia Quinn presents a novella featuring Violet Bridgerton along with a collection of “second epilogues” to her Bridgerton series—her beloved Regency-set novels featuring her charming, powerful Bridgerton family—now a series created by Shondaland for Netflix. Ever wonder what happens after the Happily Ever After? Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series remains one of the most beloved among historical romance readers, and this collection of “second epilogues”—stories that take place after the original books end—offers fans more from their favorite characters. Also unique to this volume is a novella featuring Violet Bridgerton, beloved mother of the eight Bridgerton siblings, in addition to second epilogues for The Duke and I; The Viscount Who Loved Me; An Offer from a Gentleman; Romancing Mister Bridgerton; To Sir Phillip, With Love; When He Was Wicked, It’s in His Kiss; and On the Way to the Wedding sure to satisfy the legions of Julia Quinn fans. Review: Regency romance - Violet's children now. - A wrap up to the Bridgerton series. Enjoyable to read. I'm a historical romance fan. Review: 2nd epilogues for all the Bridgerton couples! - This collection was the most perfect ending to the series and I’m so glad I waited to read it at the end! If you haven’t read the Bridgerton books then definitely don’t read the 2nd epilogues because it’ll spoil things for you with the series. It had all the siblings & Mama Violet and just the best of each of their books revisited in a new way. The Duke and I - 20 years later, Daphne is now 41 & finds out she is expecting their 5th child, which is a surprise as their youngest child is already 16-years-old. Colin & Penelope show up to chat with Simon because their son is 3-years-old & not speaking yet. Simon decides to open his late father’s letters which reveal & help with nothing. The Viscount Who Loved Me - every year Anthony & Kate have a rematch of their epic Pall Mall game (that took place in book 2) with all the original players present (Colin, Daphne, Simon, Edwina). Their competitiveness has only heightened in the 15 years & it was such a fun time! An Offer From a Gentleman - Sophie & Benedict play matchmaker for her stepsister Posy & set her up their new neighbor, the vicar. Romancing Mr. Bridgerton - takes place after Colin & his brothers show up at Sir Phillip’s house to find out where Eloise ran off to in book 5. Colin & Penelope return for Eloise’s wedding, where Penelope & Eloise both confess to secrets they held from one another. Sweet BFF time. To Sir Phillip, With Love - follows Phillip & stepmom Eloise’s daughter Amanda, who is all grown up & finding her own love match. This one is told in first person! When He Was Wicked - Francesca & Michael have been married for 3 years and the question of if Francesca is able to become a mother like she so desperately wished in her book is finally answered. It’s in His Kiss - Hyacinth & Gareth’s daughter Isabella found the jewelry they’d been searching for at the end of their book, now this epilogue starts up 9 years later (when Isabella is 19 and Hyacinth & Gregory have been married for 22 years). And Hyacinth finally finds the jewelry she’s been searching for. On the Way to the Wedding - picks up right where we left off in the book’s epilogue when Lucy gives birth to twins, bringing her and Gregory’s children total to 9. Violet in Bloom - Violet & Edmund’s through the years was the sweetest, hardest thing to read. Knowing where the story would go I was sobbing reading their bittersweet love story but I loved every minute of it too. Violet is just the best book-Mama ever.

Questions Answered!
The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After is a collection of epilogues answering questions that readers must have been plaguing Julia Quinn with. If you haven't already read ALL of the Bridgerton books then don't bother getting this, go back and start at the beginning because otherwise you will be hopelessly lost. If you have read all the Bridgerton books then this is a sweet and mostly satisfying compilation of shorts that will remind you why you fell in love with the characters in the first place and give you some closure on some things that you always wondered about. The first being whether or not Simon, Daphne's husband, ever read the letters that his father left for him. Ms. Quinn's first epilogue deals with what circumstances might make Simon WANT to read those letters - and my only complaint about this story is that now I'm dying to find out what's wrong with Georgie (if anything is at all) and I was hoping that the answer to THAT would come about in one of the later epilogues and it never did. Does that mean we're going to get a second generation of Bridgerton books? I hope so because I'm dying to know about him, as well as how Daphne and Simon deal with having an unexpected bundle of joy thrown into their later years. The second epilogue didn't answer questions so much as it gave us a glimpse into Anthony and Kate's marriage and their unrelenting competitiveness when it comes to Pall Mall. Short, sweet and extremely humorous. The third epilogue deals with Posy, Sophie's step-sister (the nice one). This was a little too short and sweet. I admittedly had always hoped that Posy would get her own book. It's satisfying to see how things turned out for her (since before this she only got a mere mention in one of the other sibling's books), but I would have liked to see a bit more of the courtship. Still, for a short it was very well done. The next epilogue contains Eloise's discovery of who Lady Whistledown was... on her wedding day! It was lovely to see her and Sir Phillip again, although in some ways this was rather anticlimatic for me since I had actually never cared what her reaction was, but I can see why a lot of people did. Amanda Crane, Eloise's stepdaughter, is the focus of the fifth epilogue. This is the only story written in first person and while that took some adjustment for my brain I thought that Ms. Quinn did an admirable job of the shift in perspective. Just like Posy, I thoroughly wished I could read an entire book about Amanda's courtship... especially since I have a feeling the Boughman sisters would have made for hilarious adversaries. As it was, it was an enjoyable little read, especially seeing Eloise acting like Violet when it comes to matchmaking for her stepdaughter. The sixth epilogue deals with Francesca's desire to have a child, and the difficulties of not conceiving while being part of the Bridgerton brood. There's a lot of sweetness in this novelette, not the least because it has so much to do with the vagaries of motherhood and what makes a family. I think a lot of women who have difficulty conceiving will really be able to relate to this short and the thoughts that go through Francesca's head. Epilogue 7 brings back Hyacinth and Gareth, two of my favorite characters. And just as always predicted, Hyacinth has turned into her mother... and she has been "blessed" with a daughter exactly like herself. The search for the diamonds continues, although perhaps if Hyacinth had ever mentioned it to her daughter things would have been a little different... The 8th Epilogue had my heart stopping a little bit. I won't give anything away except to tell you that it's about Lucy and Gregory and the birth of their last two children (twins!). Admittedly, theirs wasn't my favorite book but I enjoyed the glimpse into their future and especially into their happily ever after since it was so hard come by in their book. The last epilogue is Violet's story... and this is another one that I wish had been longer. It's not entirely satisfying because it's short glimpses, like peeking into a window for various segments of her life. I would have loved to read a LOT more about her courtship with Edmund. However, I thought that it was a fitting end to a wonderful compilation and the perfect way to wrap up this little book. If you don't like short stories, I don't recommend this for you because things happen very quickly and they are definitely not as thorough as they could have been (which I found somewhat frustrating for a few of them because I'm always wanting to know MORE). If you want a peek into the futures of the Bridgertons, this is a mostly satisfying grouping that will allow you to visit with each and every one of your favorite characters. As shorts I thought they were very well done. But if Ms. Quinn wants to write extended versions of Posy or Amanda or Violet's stories, I'll be the first in line to buy (as well as what happened with Georgie!).

A Winner!!
If you love the Bridgerton sagas you will love this book!! Nicely wraps up each of the 8 stories and offers a "teaser" on what Violet Bridgerton's back story might look like should there be one. Easy read.

The bloom that did not blossom hmmmph!
I was hoping this would explore what the show's direction seems to be taking Violet in, but it didn't. Although happy endings for all with a collection of each Bridge fronts 2nd prologues, Violets story was not what I expected. The series overall is wonderful though.

We Love Julia Quinn
This one contain epilogues for all the previous 8 plus one new story. I have read 6 of these 8. The new epilogues are:"Duke and I" and "On the Way to the Wedding". Regarding The Duke and I. We see our heroine's nearing middle age (40's and 50's) which is uncommon for historical romance, yet you can still read and find yourself attracted to the story because you still love these characters. Regarding On the Way to The Wedding: Not the usual happily ever after but still it's nice. and you can know the name of their all 9 children. New short stories are added for Violet "Lady Bridgerton". These are sweet, fluffy and a bit sad. I really liked Edmund in these stories. I shed tears when he died :" -It's very nice to go back to one of first historical stories and series that I have read. The Bridgerton still have their special place in my heart. -Julia Quinn is still awesome. -Looking forward to her new story. -I want her to release more than one book a year

A fitting finale to much-loved series.
The last of the much-loved book series for me, which sums up all the earlier 8 books and gives the second epilogue to all of them in one place. I actually wanted to know what happens with each Bridgerton kid after they all get married one by one and settle with their life partners, and to finally know what happens with their mother, one of my favourite Bridgerton character Violet, reading the Violet in Bloom as the last chapter of this book was totally amazing. It was fantastic to read 40-50 pages dedicated to each kid starting in alphabetical order as they are named in the story, starting from Anthony and going upto Gregory with all the rest in between :). The only grudge in this one was no mention of either Lady Danbury, one of my all-time favourite characters, or anything on much-loved Queen Charlotte, who usually makes a guest appearance in all her stories. Nevertheless, Julia Quinn has become the fifth most-read author for me, after my all-time favourite, Stephen King, followed closely by my young age favourite, Jeffrey Archer, further followed by Nicholas Sparks (my romantic author) and historical fiction, until he was writing Wilbur Smith. I haven’t read more than 4-5 books by any author in one particular year, but this year I have read 9 from Julia Quinn, and that too almost back to back :). She is full on entertainment and good on happiness quotient as far as my reading taste goes. I am going to change that in 2026 and want a new writer to show up in my list, overtaking all three above. Also, I had to read this one and close the chapter on the Bridgerton family once, and for all, as come Jan 2026 end, we have another season of TV series coming up based on Benedict’s life and story, which I am definitely looking forward to. I loved reading these books for their simple yet heart-touching story, and with so much humour of a close-knit joint family feeling they gave. Have you read Happily Ever After and loved it too? Do let me know if you have a personal favourite Bridgerton novel or any other Julia Quinn novel that stayed with you for a long time. I may read a few from her other series just to check if they are any good.

The Bridgetons; Happily Ever After
Well such a good conclusion to the Bridgeton series. What did l like most in the book? Firstly l loved and laughed with the annual sports day. I thought it was like Harry Potter's Quidditch games - all craziness and competition. Next it was great to see more of Francesca. She was daughter who was there but wasn't in the first few books "married and up in Scotland". So to hear more about her was a joy. I was pleased that Hyacinth finally found this missing jewellery, not for the value, more to end her constant frustrated searching. Finally it was lovely to get the back story about Edmund and Violet and to understand why Violet was happy not to pursue any further relationships after Edmund passed away. Overall it had been a wonderful ride through the Bridgerton era.
