STAR WARS The Black Series 6" Mace Windu Figure

Muy buena figura de colección, los detalles de la capa y el esculpido de la cara están increíbles, muy cercano al rostro del actor, se ve muy bien con su sable morado. Vale la pena agregarlo a la colección. De cuerpo, no hay mucho que decir, similar al de Obi-Wan y Qui Gon, pero aún así vale la pena.

Excellent figure and got it at a great price

The 6" Black series line has been steaming along for several years now and has, until recently, been a bit neglectful of prequel trilogy characters. Several of them showed up at the beginning of the line back in 2014 or so, but since that time it's basically been figures based on the recent Disney films with some original trilogy characters peppered throughout. Those of us who didn't hate the prequel trilogy have been waiting for some of our favorite characters to finally make it into the line, and Mace Windu is a big one. At last he has arrived and, fittingly enough for the Jedi Master, he is absolutely phenomenal. Coming a year after Hasbro began utilizing upgraded "Photo Real" technology for more accurate and consistent paint application, Mace Windu's likeness is quite possibly the greatest of any figure Hasbro has released in this (or perhaps any other) line of figures in this scale. You can glance at Mace from any angle and recognize Samuel Jackson's features immediately. Head to the craft shop for some fuzz to make an afro, sideburns and goatee and you have a Jules Winnfield figure in your hands. He looks THAT good. The likeness is impeccable. The detail of his sculpt is outstanding as well. His Jedi clothing look beautifully neat, and the lower "skirt" is pliable enough both front and back to allow his legs to enter into various positions. The soft goods Jedi robe fits him extremely well, being just baggy enough to add to his wizened and experienced look but flexible enough to pull back around the hood, hands, and waist for more action-oriented poses. Of course it can also be removed entirely and the figure still looks fantastic without it. Mace comes with 30 points of articulation across 19 areas of the body and I had very little trouble standing or positioning him in pretty much any pose I wanted, whether that be pensive thinker or...well, what his wallet said in Pulp Fiction. Figure review site Jedi Temple Archives describes Mace as Hasbro's first perfect 6" Black series figure, and it's hard to argue against that. I find the figure flawless. He just looks awesome. He's going to be hard to find for a while - a lot of brick and mortar stores have cleared out the Star Wars section until the next movie comes out this winter, so you may not see him in the wild (Target seems to be the best bet). Otherwise, just keep checking Amazon every day and you should eventually find him for the standard $20 MSRP. Either way don't miss out. Mace Windu is a top, top-tier entry in this collection.

I wasn't into the 6 inch line, but this is the figure that really won me over. The likeness is incredible, and the figure is nicely posable. The saber blade is supposed to be removable, but mine seems stuck and looks like it could break if I fiddle with it too much. Doesn't matter since I never pose Jedi or Sith figures without their sabers lit any way. I love the addition of the Jedi cloak too! Hasbro needs to include these with every Jedi figure they make. The plastic robes are also cleverly sculpted so as to not hinder the posing too much, which is another cool innovation Hasbro needs for all their Jedi and Sith figures. The only thing I wish is that Hasbro gave these figures a boot swivel joint, to help with more natural looking poses. Other than that, amazing. I highly recommend this figure, and it looks great on display (these figures do need stands though).
