The padding and cover are all one piece. It seems I’ve always had a pad plus a cover. It was very easy to put on. It has Velcro AND clips with elastic, which was helpful for my board because the Velcro was in the way of the leg mechanism so I just cut it off. I bought my board years ago at ikea and it’s not a standard size. I was pleased to find this cover fits perfectly. In the box was this mesh fabric and I have no idea what it is supposed to be used for.
