Sterling Silver Prayer Box Necklace Tubular Shape floral Design 1.25 inch with 2mm Rolo Chain

This is a beautiful necklace! I get multiple compliments a day when I wear it. I used this to put ashes from a loved one because it is much less expensive than those designed for that purpose and much more beautiful! It has worked well and is very durable. Has lasted 15 years and still in great condition. Would definitely recommend.

This piece is exactly as pictured and it is lovely! Mine is 1.5" long with the bale. It is very "hefty" or sturdy but, as some reviewers mentioned, you may decide to permanently seal the lid to the tube, once you have filled it as you choose. The clasp is sturdy enough for my purposes (a paper scroll), so I won't need to do this. I was worried it might be too overpowering as a pendant, but no--and with a long enough chain, it can "sit inside your bra," (if you will) so no one even need know you are wearing it. :) As with other reviewers, I purchased this piece with a very specific personal spiritual intent in mind and using this prayer tube to fill that need just "feels special." I don't know how else to say it. It was the perfect solution for my needs. I was a bit hesitant because of the price, but all other factors outweighed this consideration and I would definitely recommend it.

Got this because a friend had just gone through a serious health crisis and had a long way to go on her journey to recovery. So many people were sending prayers and good will during the worst of it, so when she prevailed I gave this to her and said that it was a way to keep all those positive thoughts with her as she continued on the road to health. The size is perfect and the details are lovely. It does open but not easily. My friend said it reminded her of a mezuzah and said she would put a tiny piece of scroll in it. The chain was quite delicate but worked well for a petite person.

The necklace was shipped super fast and the design was really beautiful. I didn't have a problem opening the clasp but when closed it didn't seal well. I would suggest a little glue if you want to protect what is inside. I did end up returning this item simply because I am petite and felt it was a little heavy to wear everyday. Aside from that, I was not disappointed at all and feel like what you see pictured is exactly what you receive.

Was looking for a prayer box to give to my girl friend to carry a poem with her. I finnaly settled down for this one. What am I glad I did. This is a nice piece with great detail. The first time which is logical it was hard to open but after that it was easy to open. It is rai water proof for the poem I put in there.Highly recomended.

The latch is not sturdy, it open and my dads ashes where lost someplace during my daily travel... was hurt...

I deducted two stars because it came with a different chain from what's pictured which is disappointing. The chain it came with is a different style (almost looks like a super skinny snake chain) and is bright (almost white) silver whereas the piece is a darker silver so they don't look good together IMO. I'm planning to buy a different chain so this is going to add an additional $20-30 to the price. I would rather have bought the prayer box for $20-30 cheaper without a chain than getting the chain it came with. Other than the chain I love the prayer box- it's exactly what I wanted and is solid and well made- just wish it came with the chain pictured or a better chain than what it came with.

I got this to put ashes in. It's absolutely beautiful! I was a little nervous from reading one or two of the reviews, but they were a few years old, and I figured all the kinks were worked out. I'm not so sure there were any kinks to begin with when you have this in your hands. It's perfect! I will probably use some type of glue just to seal the ashes in. This first one is a gift for my Sister, but I will definitely be getting another one for me. Thank you!
