Why are these now $80? I have bought these several times and they were not $80!

Would these be good for removing eye makeup without leaving behind those little filaments to get in your eyes?

Yes, it can be used for eye makeup removal. I use mine mostly to put toner on my skin. The small container that cream may come in at a restaurant are perfect to put toner and wipes in. I cut a wipe in half, stack about 7 of these in the creamer plastic container, dampen with toner and you have a weeks supply ready to use. I learned this from a person who works in a spa and gave me "samples" in a creamer container. Hope this helps. FYI

Could these be put in a sealed jar, about 30 to 50 of them, and soaked with a retinol solution. Then use one pad a day?

Not sure, why not just dip them in daily and use just once so you are sure they are clean.

Says medical quality but, I don't see anywhere on the package as to where its made. I've been using for about a year. The pads are soft and strong.
