The pull is just right and gets pass the top layers and to the scalp without scratching it. The structure of the brush keeps it water proof yet strong in the shower and I'm digging the black matte like finish with the raised Royalty. Definitely will be a constant in the rotation when I get to about a 2 to 2.5 level. Only wish it had a pointed edge for crown brushing, but I figure BK will come out with that soon and I will be on it. This brush is hard so its best to really take your time and brush slow.The firm bristles and my bristling system will really get it to reach your scalp and you will feel your scalp cleaner than ever. - Royalty brushes are hand painted so every brush will look different.Dont be alarmed if the royalty you receive dont look exactly like the pictures they will all have a different color variation so there wont be 2 brushes that are identical. - Royalty brushes are not for the shower except the Royalty 726 which was made specifically for shower brushing and wash and styles. - Every Royalty brush has a white card inside the box the brush is in that shows you how to take care of your brush step by step and what to avoid to ensure the longevity of the brush. - With all my brushes they will shed for the first month so dont be alarmed if you see bristles coming out of your brush refer to the white card inside the brush box. It’s great to have an actual brush that you can use to during the method...... Hard bristles will soften during use in the shower or while wet but still will feel stiff depending tender your scalp is.....
