How do you review a brown lunch sandwich bag? To start - it's large enough for an overstuffed sandwich. I love the crinkle sound of the bag, it holds a crease at the top. It is going to make the same old sandwiches seem to take on a new life with this new bag - nostalgic. It will be good to put muffins I bake in the 'donut hole maker' into this for quick grab snacks. This won't cause any moisture mushiness like a plastic wrap will. No waxy feel - all biodegradable. I like it. UPDATE Sept 13: I've been using these bags since they arrived...they are wonderful. My brother gives them 5 stars. I make him 2 sandwiches a day, one for breakfast and one for lunch. When he returns home, I notice he carefully folds the bags up for me to reuse. I can use the same 2 bags, every day, for a week without a problem. They are sturdy and hold up well. Even with crinkles in the paper, they still hold a good crease. I make the sandwiches the night before and they don't dry out nor become soggy in the fridge over-night or until his last sandwich at lunch. I notice when I use plastic wrap or foil he throws those away...these bags are nicely folded and brought back home, so I guess they are a money-saver in the long run. UPDATE Aug 22, 2012: It's been a year since first trying these bags. I've upped the stars from 4 to 5 stars. I absolutely love this product. It's come in handy for so many things. It works almost like parchment paper, too. I've baked in these for wrapped meals, knowing it is all safe against foods. Tomorrow I'm trying large diced potatoes, cheese and bacon put into the bag - pop into an oven and bake about 45 minutes at 350, top with fresh green onions (scallions). So many uses for these bags. UPDATE Aug 23, 2012: Do not use these as a substitute for parchment paper. When I cooked the potatoes in the bag with cheese and bacon - the cheese stuck! I think it would have been okay had I not used cheese. I invested in their parchment paper: If You Care 100% Unbleached Silicone Parchment Paper, 70-Foot Roll (Pack of 4) and will use this either alone or added into the sandwich bags when I bake with them. The sandwich bags did hold up well in a 425 degree toaster oven. **I LOVE their paper cupcake liners. I have the large and Jumbo. (large equals a standard sized muffin cup) If You Care Unbleached Large Baking Cups, 60-Count Boxes (Pack of 24) NOTHING sticks to these at all. Your baking cup paper will peel right off of your cupcakes and muffins with ease, never tearing at even the most delicate cakes. I give a box for a little gift when visiting. These are the best and with the initial investment you won't be buying them for a long time. The brown paper is excellent for us adults who are tired of fake inks and cutesy flowers...the color is very becoming and stays the same before and after the oven. I love the "If You Care" brand. ***** Here it is October 2019 and I'm buying another set of these brown bags. The last set lasted a long time. I use these bags for gift giving of baked goods...Pizzelle, Cookies, Muffins, Mini Quick Breads fit nicely inside. My kitchen is at a loss without these bags so I quickly re-ordered.

These bags are a great size. Easily hold a sandwich made with sandwich bread. There are also great to dole out snacks from a larger bag. We use them all the time on car trips to divide up snacks. They do not close at top, however we have folded down and used a piece of tape to secure. There is a good number of bags in each package for the cost. Do not tear easily. Buy these frequently and are now a staple in our household!

These bags haven't ripped on me. Non-toxic, and super user friendly. Usage is super versatile but aim to use dry products. I make baked goods and can fit like 2-3 handfuls of crackers in here. To close the bag, you can fold in the edges to create a crinkle effect, but I like to use a piece of tape as well for extra security. I did notice over time, that the brown box that these bags come in did start to wear and tear pretty easily on the sides so I needed to transfer it directly into the drawer and just remove the box casing these bags.

I use these in my lunchbox daily. Slide a piece of leftover pizza (on parchment paper works best) or a sandwich in and it is microwave ready. If I worry about the bread or bun drying out, I will put it in another baggie or container. For me, the desired feature is the functionality of being microwave ready. I am always eating lunch on the run. Being able to toss it in the microwave, then grab and go, is perfect. It is about the size to comfortably fit an average slice of bread, which makes sense because it is a sandwich bag.

I use these bags to transport breakfast and lunch items to work for my husband and I. I really try to limit my use of plastics though it’s not always easy. These bags work well for our use.

We originally found these in our Whole Foods store, but they have since stopped carrying them. Buying in bulk in Amazon has also been cheaper. These work really well for sandwiches, cookies, snacks and even some fruits. I personally wouldn’t use them to transport watermelon, pineapple etc, but think that grapes or apple slices would be fine. These seem to hold up well enough to use more than once depending on what you put inside them which I love. They work really well and I love having another option instead of having to use single use plastic baggies.

We use these in the kids stainless steel lunch boxes (Planet Box) every day! I put the sandwiches in a bag to put in the lunch box... keeps the PB&J or whatever from getting all over the inside of the box. And, when she has ham and cheese sandwiches, she can take her sandwich still in the bag out of the box and put right into the microwave to heat it up - which she really likes doing. I also use it to put cut up apples and oranges in for when we're going places in the car. Better than using a plastic bag.

Nunca me han gustado los envoltorios de aluminio en contacto con los alimentos, y normalmente además se añadía una bolsa de plástico..... un montón de residuos todos los días para los bocatas de los niños. Estas bolsas son perfectas, las usamos a diario, el bocata con una servilleta de papel y a la bolsa!. A menudo incluso las reutilizo de un día para otro.

Brilliant eco friendly paper food bags. Brilliant for those wanting too stop using plastic food bags. Will never use plastic bags again. Great for pack lunches. Can easily fit two sandwiches in one bag. Some reviews say that they found that food e.g. sandwiches that the bread goes hard after storage, I never had a issue with this, so maybe people aren't closing the bags back enough. However I only use them for pack lunches so sandwiches are only stored in them for a few hrs in the morning so unsure how long you can store food in them before they start going off. Overall excellent product will continue to use again and again.

Love this brand everything they do is great quality. These are the best for sandwiches and storing all sorts of food. Very sturdy and capable of handling oily foods too.

Son bastante resistentes y muy prácticas, además de no generar el tipo de residuos que genera el papel de aluminio. En alguna ocasión la grasa traspasa el papel y mancha. Por eso no le doy 5 estrellas.
