Wonderful mind exercising game. My sister gave me one of these for Christmas and I love it. Had to get one for my dad since he also loves puzzles.

I love this line of IQ smart games that are challenging but perfect to work on while watching TV. The small case is perfect size with a booklet of beginning to expert challenges, with "answers" in the back, which I don't look to, as I work to complete each pattern on my own.

This is a fun puzzle game that can be played at home or on the go. IQ Twist is very well made, the pieces are sturdy and the game comes in a nice case. The puzzle book is also well made, the pages are not flimsy, are made out of coated material, and are easy to turn. The controls on the gameboard are easy to read, which is necessary to set up for each puzzle. The pieces fit well into the slots. Not only is this a well made game, it promises hours of fun as well. There are 100 puzzles included in the booklet. Set up the game board according to the puzzle you are going to work on and go to it. You set the pegs in holes based on the puzzle design, then you have to make all the pieces fit on the board while making sure the piece fits on the same color pegs. This is a lot harder than it sounds - it's challenging from puzzle number 1. Twist and turn the pieces around, taking them off the board and putting them back on until you find the exact combination/placement for that puzzle. Answers are included in the back of the book to keep you from tearing your hair out, but honestly what's the hurry, just keep at it until you get the placement just right.

I put off buying Smart Games IQ Twist because I didn't understand why they needed the pegs. It seemed strange. But I finally bought it and I'm really enjoying it. I wish the pegs fit more snugly into the board because they seem very losable. I find the challenges fun and tricky, especially as they progress in difficulty. Just be really careful with your pegs! (Too bad they didn't include an extra set.) As with all Smart Games, the quality is exceptional, lots of challenges (solutions included), the case is tight so it's travel-worthy. Highly recommended.

(RE: IQ Twist puzzle) There are 8 pieces in this puzzle and they fit into a 4x8 space. An easy challenge is just to fit all of the pieces into the 4x8 grid (of which there are many solutions) But to add more fun/challenge there are pegs that can be placed in the grid that coincide with holes in the pieces (and match the color) My nephews and I have come up with a game that we can each other play long-distance by - solving a configuration on your own, then place colored pegs, then take away the pieces (leaving only the pegs) and send each other a picture of only the peg locations as a challenge! (get it?) See attached pics for example. The grid with the colors blue, green, red, yellow, coincide with holes in the pieces. In this case, the solution had an additional challenge! To solve with NO pieces of the same color touching each other! (this is my solution in the photo, *wink wink*)

This game is a lot of fun and perfect for traveling. You can play by yourself or, if you have more than one person wanting to play it, you can time each other taking turns trying to solve the same puzzle. See who can solve it faster! On a side note, I lost one of the pieces. It came with all of the pieces I needed but somewhere along the way I lost one of the pegs. The company's customer service responded to my email right away when I asked if I could get a replacement piece. They sent one out to me right away! Very happy with this game and the company the produces it.

During the lockdown I decided to purchase this on a whim to help keep my mind occupied. It is a great solitaire puzzle game which requires very little space and is easily stored away when not in use. I love the number of puzzles included which increase in difficulty as you progress. You can just skip a puzzle and come back to it later if it has you stumped. The answers are also included, which I partially cover with my hand, revealing only a couple of clues at a time. This way I can complete the rest of the puzzle on my own. For the price, this brain teaser is a no-brainer.

Fun, sometimes very tricky to solve. Nice diversion.
